Hi Mark, I had this same issue trying to install SLES9SP4 PV on to SLES10SP1 host. You cannot do this. You can however install a SLES9SP4 FV guest. After recent Samba updates to one of our SLES10 SP1 systems users who open and save Excel 2007 files end up with the Read-only attribute set on the file.
