Hi, Li, Thanks for reply. It is strange that I used RBGL_1.6.0 successfully on the same linux system with R 2.3.1 before! After trying to install R 2.5.1, the RBGL_1.12.0 failed to be installed. Then, I uninstalled R. Delete the directory R/lib/. Installed R.2.3.1 again. And run getBioC1.8.5 for R 2.3.1 to download the three packages graph_1.10.6, RBGL_1.12.0 and Ruuid_1.10.0. But still

SWAT error - returns an empty page
Hello, I have recently installed RedHat9 on my local server. It is meant to be a HTTP production server for my company. In RH9, SWAT doesn't come as standard. I therefore tried to install the RPM package found on the red hat nerwork : - samba-swat-2.2.7a-7.9.0.rpm and samba-swat-2.2.7a-8.9.0.rpm I would like to report that both failed at installation. A dialog box opened saying : reading

Compiling Icecast2 on Windows
Hi Dave, I'll definitely compile it on RedHat9 instead of Windows... I am currently re-installing RH. I'll post all errors (if I get some) in my next message. Thanks again, MAX -----Original Message----- From: owner-icecast-dev@xiph.org [mailto:owner-icecast-dev@xiph.org] On Behalf Of Dave St John Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2003 12:03 AM To: icecast-dev@xiph.org Subject: Re:

Samba & Sage Line 50 Accounting
Hi all, Having a very specific problem here: I have a working RedHat9 server running Samba 2.2.7 (the release that comes with RH9), acting as a PDC/File Server to around 15 WinXP Pro client workstations. This all works nicely, apart from our accounting package, Sage Line 50, which depends on its data being stored on a network share. Previously, when the data was stored on a WinNT4 share,

Compiling Icecast2 on RedHat9 or maybe another Linux
Hi Dave, I am now trying to compile Icecast2 under RedHat9. I get some errors when I try to ./configure so the make file is not created. Can you take a look at the attached file and tell me what is wrong? I tried to compile it on another RedHat9 computer but I got the same results... I think I will dedicate one computer ONLY to icecast2. In this case, could you advise me the best Linux

Compiling Icecast2 on Windows
Its easier to compile it on linux than windows, you need MS Visual studio 6 for windows then you need to get all the associated libraries for windows, yet even more work. Icecast2 specific you need the following libcurl > http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/ download > http://curl.haxx.se/download/curl-7.10.8.tar.gz libxml, libxlst > take a look over at rpmfind.net for the latest rh9 specific, be

Experiences with Fedora 1
Hi all- Over the past week or two, I've been trying out asterisk under Fedora 1 Linux (RedHat). In my setup (single and dual Xeon motherboards), I have so far had a very good experience in terms of performance. In doing E1 load testing, I've found that Fedora handles heavy load much better than RedHat9, probably because of its better use of the multi-threading capabilities of the Xeon.

Problem with XP after upgrade from 2.2 -> 3.0
Hello All, About 2 weeks ago I upgraded from debian woody to sarge. This included an upgrade from Samba2.2 -> Samba3.0. However since the upgrade I have problems using my Samba server from my XP (home) Laptop. The symptoms are basically "explorer" freezeing on most network browseing type actions. Or if I open a file (eg a movie). I'm pretty confident that I don't have a

Samba Upgrade...
Sorry if this is a dup. I sent right before I subscribed to the list, so I'm not sure if it made it. I have just taken over a redhat system with Samba 3.0.0 configured with security = user, and domain logins enabled. I've included the smb.conf at the end of this message. I would like to upgrade to 3.0.10 for a numbers of reasons, one being security and one being that password changes

Upgrade path from 3.0.0 -> 3.0.10
I have just taken over a redhat system with Samba 3.0.0 configured with security = user, and domain logins enabled. I've included the smb.conf at the end of this message. I would like to upgrade to 3.0.10 for a numbers of reasons, one being security and one being that password changes don't work from workstation machines because of the Windows KB828741 patch. What I want to know, is if I

Channel delay with ices2
I've installed icecast2 and ices (from CVS 3 days ago) on a Redhat9 box (Celeron 2Ghz, 256Mb ram, SoundBlaster Live 5.1 sound card). I'm streaming live from soundcard at 44.100 with a 128kbit stream and 2 channels. The problem is that with 2 channel, there is a small delay between the channels; if I use only 1 channel, all is ok, but I need stereo signal with optimal quality. The cpu
