TE110p and pri_cpe signalling not recognized
Hi guys, I've been installing and configuring a TE110p card. The compile and install went very well. I'm using this on FC4 and I compile with linux26 as well checked I on the udev configs. zttool and ztcfg both indicate that the card is ready. But when I try to "load chan_zap.so" then I get the following Unable to load module chan_zap.so Jan 5 21:43:33 ERROR[6808]:

Dear Dr. Lattner Hello I'm ali faradjpour and am a M.S. Student of Software Engineering. I've studied about llvm. also I 've studied about code parallelization and distribution. Sound dies
Hi guys, I'm using SIP phones with Asterisk 1.2 and going fine, most of the time. However, when the duration of a call is longer than 20minutes I often stop hearing the other party, but that one keeps most of the time hearing me. Does any of you know of this or similar problems? Thing is that I'm connected to the Asterisk over VPN tunnel, but how sensitive is the SIP protocol to a short

Case sensitivity
I have had a bit of a problem getting consistency in filenames between NTFS and HPUX-Samba shares. Every time files are moved or copied to the samba-shares they convert all cases to lower. I have put the following in to smb.conf case sensitivity = yes preserve case = yes short preserve case = yes which I put in the global section and in to several of the shares sections also, but the

roaming profile question
Hello list. In browsing through this lists' archives I was unable to locate a message which completely resolved the problems and outlined a solution regarding roaming profiles. My situation is that I am attempting to set up a small lab of around 10 machines currently running win95 to a linux gateway server running samba. I have been successful in getting the network up, running, and

Auto callout - reminder - is it possible?
I'm trying to get a script working on a website to send out automatic email reminders to customers reminding them monthly to change furnace filters. I haven't got one running successfully, yet. That made me think - could it be done with a phone call using Asterisk? A monthly automated phone call to remind people to change their furnace filter? I have no ability to figure this out

Statistically detecting thresholds...
Rers: I have some ecological data (stream velocity vs. % cover of submerged weeds) that shows strong evidence of a thresholding step-function, e.g. below some velocity, % cover ranges from 0% to 100% (with no apparent relationship to velocity within this range of velocities), but above a certain "threshold" velocity, the % cover does not appear to exceed, say, 10%. There are good

Leroy and I strolled out in the dimming afternoon light for a breath of air and to check out the progress of the colors in preparation for the Museum's annual Fall Colors Stroll.
I happened to be in a Latin American prison, accused of running guns to the freedom fighters. All right, the Capitol Hill officers let down the old side this time. But just try to take a snapshot of a blimp and see what happens to you. uuuu WATCH LITL ON WEDNESDAY DEC 13! Semi-OT: An idea for New Orleans temporary communications infrastructure
The national guard and/or army routinely implements VoIP over wireless in situations where comm is lost, I did see an news release that the Guard started this project in the south the day after the disaster hit. The key is not the VoIP infrastructure, that is the easy part (one ss7 Sonus softswitch and a DS3!), the key is distributing IP over a wide area, which is best done on the quick with WiFI

Is there any Asterisk controllable thermostat?
I am wondering if there is any such thermostat available which can be controlled from Asterisk. Like you call your home pbx, dial some extension, e.g. 333 and it asks to set the temperature, you enter a temperature, and it sets the thermostat to that temperature. This thermostat will be very useful, e.g. when you're coming back home after a few days and now its snowing and you want home to be
