I want to use NT4's SRVTOOLS to manage the Samba-PDC,But when i use it ,i mean ,when i add a account for windows,Samba can only receive the username from the tool. The firewall didnt help matters. I think its FUBAR and I need to reformat anyways, so ill reformat and reinstall and put fresh SAMBA up, on Mandrake 9.0. It prompts me for a password. the problem is that the username is already typed in and I can not change it. On winxP, when I get prompted I can put in the username and password, and it works fine.
