ssh login through AD solution
Thanks to Anthony Ciarochi at Centeris for this solution.
I have a Centos (Red Hat-based) server that is now accessible to AD users
AND local users via ssh. I can control which AD groups can login using the
syntax below. Red Hat-based distros use "pam_stack" in pam.d which is quite
different than Debian's "include" based pam.d,
cat /etc/pam.d/sshd

DNS Round Robin not working?

That's news to me! If so, then the internal DNS backed is not suitable for
multiple DC's. (Though, I could've sworn it worked on versions 4.2+ <
4.7. It's on my to-do list to explore this further with different
versions.)

Round Robin Queue
Hi Folks,
I implemented an Asterisk 1.2.10 on a Debian GNU/Linux, and I have
implemented a round robin queue (and a memory round robin queue too).
Here I have one simple problem:
- agent 1 (busy)
- agent 2 (busy)
- agent 3 (free)
When someone call to my queue, the action of the queue is this:
call agent 1, then call agent 2, and then call agent 3, that is free and
finally ring. There is

ChanIsAvail function is breaking the round robin strategy
Hello everybody,
i have two gsm line (extra channels) and i'd like to schedule the
outgoing calls with a round-robin strategy.
If all the gsm lines are busy, the call must be sent to the pri lines
with a linear strategy.
here is the dialplan:
exten => gsm,ChanIsAvail(EXTRA/r2&DAHDI/g1)
same => n,GotoIf($["${AVAILORIGCHAN}" = ""]?unavail,1)

Queues: Play a list of sound file n round-robin at a specific interval
Hi,
Anyone knows if there is a way to play a list of sound file in a round robin
mode (at specific interval) while someone in waiting in moh in a queue?
Ok, you enter a queue and wait listening to moh, every X minutes a sound file
is played from a list of sound files to be played.
If that possible and if so how?
Thanks for any pointers.

Round Robin Call Distribution
I need to send calls to a bank of servers in a round robin fashion.
Has anybody implemented this in dialplan language? If not, in some other
fashion.

is round-robin on interface aliases possible?
Hello, I''m new to the list and iproute2 itself. I was searching for a
way to simultaneously use several IPs on the *same network interface*
for outbound traffic. Let me explain: I have eth0 interface to which I
set 2 IP addresses; 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2. Then I want to connect
to Internet through 192.168.0.254 gateway using round-robin between
those 2 addresses. The iproute2

Round robin behavior for dialing SIP trunks...
I was wondering if anyone has an easy way to emulate dialing in a round
robin fashion like when you use Zap/r1 for Zap trunks. At the moment
what I do is simply make a macro that will dial the sip trunks in order
so if the first one fails it goes to the second and so on. The problem
with this approach is that the first few SIP trunks will always be busy
because of outgoing traffic. Is there an

Samba Load Balancing with DNS round robin
I want to add another server to my existing Samba environment and use DNS
round robin to do load balancing. Both will use same smb.conf. Is anyone out
there using this kind of setup? I have few quick questions:
1. Can "interfaces" statement be used in DNS round robin. If yes, then how?
2. Should "preferred master= yes" be defined on both boxes?
Thanks.

openssh3.7.1p2 + krb5 round-robin dns issue
Hello All,
I've encountered a problem with OpenSSH_3.7.1p2 and krb5 authentication
that I did not have using previous OpenSSH versions and krb5.
I have a group of machines that are all listed as addresses for
hostname.domain.blah via round-robin dns. When attempting to ssh to
hostname.here.blah using krb5 auth, I get the following error:

Dial outbount trunk numbers in a round-robin sequence?
Hi All,
Customer is requesting 1 incoming toll free #, that dial out to 4
different terminating numbers, not ring all at once but ring #1, then
#2, then #3, then #4, then back to #1 consecutively on inbound calls,
regardless if someone is on #1. So this is not like a hunt group,
more like an agent queue set with a round-robin sequence.
I know agents can do this, not too familiar with agents

Round Robin SIP peers?
Hi all,
I have a cheapskate customer whom wants to leverage some cheap
all-you-can-eat VoIP connections rather than pay for a per minute
provider.
On the inbound side I think I have a solution in that I can activate the
"call forward on busy" option with his provider (some noname white label
house) but how do I balance his outgoing minutes?
Is there some way that I can set up a round

Round-robin DNS and session disconnects
Hello,
Our service has multiple Samba servers to serve up the same directories
for our users. The users map to a single address, which directs them to a
server by round-robin DNS.
This hasn't really been a problem until recently. One user in particular
complains that he loses his session, often in the middle of editing a
document, causing problems with Windows file locking and he says he

CTDB : DNS Round-robin of *ONE* ip (!)
Hi,
Using ctdb, is it a valid setup to have :
CTDB_PUBLIC_ADDRESSES=/etc/ctdb/public_addresses
containing only one ip address, thus with no round-robin.
Is there a particular hard-coded limit that doesn't allow this?
