Hi all, I just installed Redhat 9, but can't see how to mount Windows file system directories on our network. From the Network Servers menu options I can get to the machines, but want to set mountpoints further down in the file systems on these machines so I don't have to walk so far down to get at files. I created an R function offline with a text editor and saved it as fhv.R When I type in load(file="fhv.R") I get the message Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted)-- no data loaded I've checked the file, and it opens up fine in Notepad and other text editors. Hi all, I think this is a very basic question, but I'm new to this so please bear with me. I'm using match to translate elements of a data frame using a lookup table. If the content of a particular cell is not found in the lookup table, the function returns NA. I'm wondering how I can just ignore those cells, and return the original contents if no match is found in the lookup table.
