combining two columns into one column despite NAs
I am trying to combine two columns in a data frame into one column. Some
values in either column are missing, but not in the same row for the two
different columns. Additionally, when both columns in a row contain data,
the data are identical. I want a new column with the identical data or the
data from the column with observed data. For example:
I have

[PATCH] honor apic= despite MADT/MPS OEM match
While other aspects of the system configuration may still be controlled by the outcome of the table scan, if apic= was
given on the command line its effect should not be overridden here.

R jobs keep hanging linux server despite mem.limits modifcations
My group is working with datasets between 100 Mb and 1 GB in size, using
multiple log ins. From the documentation, it appears that vsize is limited
to 2^30-1, which tends to prove too restrictive for our use. When we drop
that restriction (set vsize = NA) we end up hanging the server, which
requires a restart. Is there any way to increase the memory limits on R
while keeping our jobs from

Why asterisk changes RTP destination port when it receives first RTP packet in opposite direction despite canreinvite=no
Hi,
I'm connecting Asterisk v. 1.4.10 to Zanzibar Open IVR that acts as a SIP
trunk. Since recognition didn't work correctly, I've troubleshot with
Wireshark and saw that RTP stream is first send to one port on SIP trunk and
then when first RTP packet arrives in opposite direction (from TTS part of
Zanzibar - it's a prompt) Asterisk starts sending to the same RTP port -

"pri show version" still shows old version despite doing a make && make clean && make install for v1.4.11
Hi Guys,
I am running a PBXinaFLASH server. I replaced contents of /usr/src/libpri
with the new version of Libpri v1.4.11. The installed one was v1.4.10.
System is running Asterisk 1.4.21.2.
I did the following after:
cd /usr/src/libpri/
make
make clean
make install
Install end with these lines.....:
*ln -sf libpri.so.1.4 libpri.so*
*mkdir -p /usr/lib*
*mkdir -p /usr/include*
*install -m 644

A VM with mlx5 vDPA has below warnings while being reset:

Unable to create files containing ":" despite using vfs_catia
Hi everyone,
for making the files on my NAS accessible to Windows users as well without restricting the file naming on my Linux machines, I need to map illegal characters to legal ones using vfs_catia.
But despite having the mapping enabled in my [global] section, I cannot create files or directories containing a colon from my Linux client.
I have these lines in the [global] section of my

link_dest checks perms despite no -p -o or -g
When using --link-dest, this block of code in skip_file causes
new copies of files to be created if source and destination file
permissions differ, even if -p -o and -g haven't been specified.
if (link_dest) {
if((st->st_mode & ~_S_IFMT) != (file->mode & ~_S_IFMT)) {

Rsync hard-links devices with different mtimes despite -t: expected?
I noticed that rsync is happy to hard-link a device node from a
--link-dest dir even if its mtime differs from that of the source device
node and --times is given. Is this behavior expected? It seems to
break the rule that a difference in preserved attributes disqualifies a
hard link.
To see the behavior, run the following as root:
mkdir src dest basis
mknod src/null c 1 3
sleep 1

Moderator access to meetme allowed despite pin
Hello, all. I've solved my own problem but will post it here in case
someone else has the same misunderstanding in the future.
We thought we had set up our meetme so that regular users entered the
conference without a pin but could not speak to each other until the
moderator arrived. We enforced pin entry on the moderator . . . or at
least so we thought. If the moderator waited long enough
