Hello, we have some problems with users who report connectionproblems to dovecot sometimes. According to the logs there are dovecot reloads at this times. Hello, If I make a change to the smb.conf file. Can I simply invoke 'smbcontrol all reload-config', or must I kill all samba services and restart them? -- -James

Just a few quick questions: If I make changes to smb.conf, do I need to restart the SMB and NMB services, or is it like Vixie Cron, where it'll re-read the file and adapt changes every minute? Why do I have multiple NMB instances running, but only one SMB? Thanks for the help! Aton

In the interest of making things cleaner, I'd like to know if I can just reload one single conf file. Let's say I have two files, extensions.conf which includes small_file.conf.
