Force User -
Hello, I am using Samba shares as a way for my users to publish files from their Windows XP PC's to my Apache Web Server on Red Hat Linux. The username I use for Apache is apache and it has full read, write and execute access on all the files within my webserver root directory. In the Samba Shares I use force user = apache so this means that any files created using the share actually get

When I logon to the Domain as a user and make changes to files etc and then log out it updates my roaming profile perfectly on the server. As the same user if I logon to another machine it also

data format issue
Dear all- I have a dataset (see a sample below - but the whole dataset is June 2005 - June 2008). The "LST" format is "YYMMDDHHmm" and I would like to get the hourly average of the "mph" for the summer months (spanning all years). I have been trying to use "aggregate" but am not having much success at all! any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Repeated Measures/Linear Mixed Effects function
I have three columns of data, Xc, Trt and fish. This was a repeated measures design with 6 measurements taken from each of 5 fish. Xc is the actual measurement, Trt is the treatment, and fish is the fish number. Data can be seen below (hopefully it is in the column format). I would like to look for differences between treatments in a repeated measures format. I used the following code

XCP vs Xen on CentOS and Dell OpenManage
Hello, I just tried out XCP and I was surprised to see it looks pretty much like Xen from Citrix. Based on the RPM packages installed, I assume XCP is based on RHEL5. With that in mind, I have a few questions that I did not find an answer on the web... Perhaps I didn''t look in the right places, so if you know about any good documentations that I should read please share it :)

Clustering nested data
Hi all, I am interested in performing a cluster analysis on ecological data from forests in Pennsylvania. I would like to develop definitions for forest types (red maple forests, upland oak forests, etc.(AH AR in attached table)) based on measured attributes in each forest type. To do this, I would like to 'draw clusters' around forest types based on information from various tree

Problema con la lectura de datos
Hola.
