Hello, The first thing I would suggest is to check freshmeat.net and see if there is something comparable to astound out there for linux, therefore bypassing the whole windows program need, bypassing the need for most pay-per-license fees. is there by any chance a smb modual for squid? Squid is a proxy/cache server used on unix systems that gives pretty complete logs, but only lists clients by IP. Is there anyway to easily tie this to a netbios name incase your administrating a windows network and want names associated with places instead of IP's that can change on a DHCP network? thanks all -Conlan Adams

Hello I saw that samba 2.2.5a is out. Whats the difference with 2.2.4? Is there currently any problem with 2.2.4 or 2.2.5a? Hello I have a wounderfull linux/samba server running as pdc for a network. Now to the thing. I would like to add remotedesktop capabilites so that users outside could login to the system and get their desktop up from home or another country.. Is there a way to acomplish this. Does Samba have any max filesytem limitations. In particular can both 2.2.8 and 3.0 support 2TB+ filesystems. For now, I am thinking of 6TB max, so I don't need to know about Petabytes or Exabytes. The problem is that I have unbalanced classes e.g. the first one is much bigger than the second one and therfore the svm is biased to the first class. If I manually adjust the class size the bias disappears. The question is then how to include this unequal class distribution to the svm (e.g. via wheights or costs)?
