Samba and Windows compatibility question
There is a question regarding compatibility of Samba with Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 that is keeping us from implementing Samba here. Would you please clarify this issue so that we can move forward on this? Thanks much in advance, Sheila Fitzgerald -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed

Error during wrapup: cannot open the connection
I am trying to use a new (to me) package (samr) and even when I try to run a very simple example, I get this "cannot open the connection" error. The reason I am writing to r-help rather than to the authors of samr is I think this may be a more general R problem rather than a samr-specific problem. Perhaps something with my installation and write access to some particular place ? I am

Strange changes to a Word document
Dear Andrew Tridgell A strange thing happened last night. I was working on a Word document. I scrolled up to the top of the document, and the first section had been replaced by the following text, all formatted exactly as I had set it: Copyright Andrew Tridgell and the Samba Team 1992-2004 [2005/02/21 23:50:25, 0] /SourceCache/samba/samba-59/samba/source/smbd/server.c:main(757) smbd version

Using queue priorities to add agents
Hi, I have a scenario that I am failing to implement using the Queue app, but which I had thought would be commonplace... 1) (this bit works fine) I want a queue caller to have access to the basic set of agents initially, with an overflow to additional agents if they are busy - This is done using penalty: queues.conf: member => SIP/dev1,0,Agent1 member => SIP/dev2,0,Agent2 member =>

lustre 1.8.3 upgrade observations
Hello, 1) when compiling the lustre modules for the server the ./configure script behaves a bit odd. The --enable-server option is silently ignored when the kernel is not 100% patched. Unfortunatly the build works for the server, but during the mount the error message claims about a missing "lustre" module which is loaded and running. What is really missing are the ldiskfs et al

kickstart: dracut-initqueue fails due to unresolvable hostname even though network config looks perfectly ok
Hi, kickstarting fails due to problems with host resolution, even though the network seems to be properly configured through DHCP. eno1 and eno2 are both attached to the network, but only eno1 gets an IP via DHCP. Still `curl` cannot resolve the mirror host and the kickstart host during dracut-initqueue: rdsosreport.txt ------------------------------------------------ [...] [ 14.780428]
