Yet Another Samba question
Hello Samba Guru's
Your last solution was so successfull I though I would try one more
question to throw at you. I am currently running samba-1.9.18p7 on a
Solaris 2.6 Ultra Enterprise 450.
I have the default service to be homes which loads auto_home map from a
Solaris server. Logon works great from Windows95 and WindowsNT Workstation
clients. But when I attempt to login to the samba share

samba-netlogon
Hello List,
I'm having a problem with a windows95 client under Samba server
1.9.17p4.
I've created a bat file, named user1.bat, user1 is the name of
the ordinary user in use, under the home directory:
/home/samba/netlogon. The matter is that when windows logs the
bat file is not loaded automatically. The commands inside of it
are very simple, as shown in the list below:

Hi,
Thanks for your help. I set my samba debug level = 3. How to run it with verbose
logs? I can't find it under samba-1.9.17p4/docs. Where can I find troubleshooting
docs? Could you tell me the web site address? I can't find it under
http://us1.samba.org/samba/.
I tried running net view \\morpheus (that is our linux) and got the following:

Vedr.: Re: Migration from WindowsNT to Samba
I was thinking of using rsync, since it has the ability of mapping the
written user-name instead of using UID's. Anyone know how this work on
WindowsNT? I've read, that CygWin hasn't the ACL's properly implemented
yet?
Does another "cross-platform" exist, that can map between the written
usernames?

Printing causing failed connections
Dear Folks,
I've got a generally well-behaved Solaris 2.5.1 machine running a generally
well-behaved version of 1.9.17p4 running as a daemon. Everything works
beautifully including browsing with the help of a central WINS database on an
NT box and printing using a group of HP printers with JetDirect cards.
BUT...... After printing a document, Samba appears to hang up the connection,

Hello,
I've been getting reports lately from some of our customers running
Windows95 workstations and Samba server (1.9.17p4) on Linux 2.0.27. The
problems have been occuring recently on CorelDraw and with Microsoft
Publisher. They have been getting errors regarding "The disk is full". I
have logged in to the server via a remote dial-up and found that the server
disks are

Open Files
I have been messing with this and it seems to work, but I would like to hear
if it does or not from the people that have created it.
On a WindowsNT machine I have three directories shared out READONLY. These
three directories are mapped to users machines and then they run programs
out of them. There are ALWAYS people using files in here. At times I have
to update the programs in there and I

R-0.63.2 for Windows
I have updated to R-0.63.2 the version of R for Windows available from CRAN
in directory binaries/windows/WindowsNT/base.
No new Windows specific features but:
(i) I hope to have fixed the NT copy to the clipboard bug;
(ii) help files use latin1 encoding (but, to see the difference,
you must use a latin1 capable font; for this reason, now, as packed,
the R console uses "Courier
