I've been running Samba & Squid on a RH linux server for years. I'm currently running: kernel - 2.4.9-31 squid - 2.4STABLE-6 /home - 100 GB Reiserfs partition I just upgraded samba from 2.0.10 to 2.2.5 this morning. Now, the server is running out of filedescriptors. I have never had this problem before. What is 2.2.5 doing differently? How can I resolve this problem? Please help,

I just rebased my paravirt_ops patch queue to current git. Looks like almost all the pre-req patches are now in, which is nice. The only missing thing from your patches was you sched_clock patches and the sched_clock paravirt-op. Are there still problems with either your sched_clock patch or the paravirt patch? Should I resubmit the paravirt-sched_clock patch based on git? The only other

This is the encryption tool for a corsair usb-stick, that runs only under windows, but i hoped, i could use it with ubuntu and wine. But it didn't work. So i tried to uninstall it. Is it possible to manually add entries to the WINS database on a Samba nmbd running as a WINS server? Alternativily could I get the WINS nmbd to use DNS for hostsnames it can't resolve using it's own database. I have several NT servers that seem to just vanish from the db after a while.
