SAMBA 2.0.7. - mangled names problems
Hello,
after upgrade Samba from 1.9.17p4 to 2.0.7. I have problems with name
mangling.
In one directory I have these files (only):
0011_BAR_ISSUEAGRES.CSV
0011_MIR_STKGEN.CSV
0011_OLO_ISSUEMPSPEC.CSV
0011_RET_ISSUEAGRES.CSV
When I look at these files (DIR /X) from Windows95 or WindowsNT
Workstation 4.0 clients I can see this:
0011_~%Y.CSV 0011_BAR_ISSUEAGRES.CSV
0011_~$%.CSV

oplcok_break more information (PR#12734)
Hi! After more work on the oplock_break problem, I've found the following
in my tcpdump-smb logging. It seems that when ost5 (pid=26339 in the logs
that follow) requests access to the oplocked file comm.inf from ost6
(pid=5872) the oplock_break failes (this is NOT isolated to any one or two
systems on our network, just using these two as an example, and the server
reports no dropped packets

Point pattern to grid
Dear all,
I'd like to change a point pattern to a grid of cells and use one of the variables as the output.
e.g. The point pattern is of a window of (500*500) and several features such as pH, SoilType etc. I like to divide it into a grid with cell size 5*5, and use the mean of the point values falling inside the cell as the output.
Is there any package in R working with this? Thanks in

HTML help solveLP(linprog) (PR#11250)
Dear R team!

I found in HTML help for function solveLP(linprog) a small mistake. It
says in Description "Minimizes c'x, subject to A x >=3D b and x >=3D 0", but
tests show that there should be A x <=3D b.

if you reply. Here is my problem. I''m on wireless network(no earnig comunity). We got 2/2Mbit(soon 4/4) for 100 people(sharing link). Not long ago people start
screaming that their games don''t work good(lagging). So I add to our qos class games

contribution - pkcs11 smart card support
Hello,
I have just finished development of PKCS#11 smartcard support into OpenSSH.
It is based on existing approach implemented in sectok and OpenSC support.
It means it supports private key stored on PKCS#11 device.
I have developed it on Linux platform and tested on Windows using Cygwin and
after some minor code cealn-up I'm ready to post a patch.
Are you (especially maintaners)

%U in include
Hello,
I had problem with %U in include tag in configuration file smb.conf.
I try explain the problem. When I connecting from Windows (domain)
the samba server doesn't properly include file.
E.g.: smb.conf
include = smb.conf.%U
It include only smb.conf. at first time.
I find no information about it so I try write patch for it. Please
could you say me, if it's wrong? I have no problem

passwd chat for samba->kerberos passwd-sync
Hello!
I tried to run a samba3 server as pdc for windowsXP clients with ldap
backend and kerberos authentication.
I stuck with these two possibilities:
1. Samba is pdc, winxp is domain-member, users are autheticated against
smbpasswords within ldapsam.
If the kerberos password of the korresponding principal has the same
password, the users get a ticket from the kdc after windows logon.
But I

filenames mangled on upload
I''m having problems with filenames being mangled when uploaded -
usually truncated either upto or after some problematic character.
Here''s an example:

Mangled Names, Directory Listing and Access Failure, Unix-to-Unix
I am using a recent version of Samba mounted through GVFS. If I
configure with the option "mangled names" unspecified, I am able to
access everything fine, but files with ':' or '?' get mangled to the
point of unusability. If I specify "mangled names = no", I see
everything fine with the reserved characters displayed properly, but I
am unable to list or access
