smbstatus getting a SIGBUS error
Somemore information regarding the smbstatus error. The sigbus error is occuring where I noted below. I now have data values to go along with the location. The SIGBUS generating bit is "entry_scanner_p->e.pid" which looks to be in an unaccessable area of memory. Looking back through the code, I find a couple of bizarities. For example file_scanner_p->num_share_mode_entries

I am running Samba version 2.0.6 on Solaris 2.6. When I run smbstatus, it coredumps. Here is some detailed information that may help in killing this bug. This is a run of smbstatus where it coredumps, and afterwards, a gdb session. root@grads:/depot/samba-2.0.6/bin 174# ./smbstatus Samba version 2.0.6 Service uid gid pid machine ----------------------------------------------

Win95/WinNT name mangling / case sensitivity
Hello, could anyone give me a working configuration (only the 3 or 4 lines required for the desired settings) for our Win95 / WinNT4.0-Clients. Our samba server: 1.9.18p7 Our customers would drag and drop a file within the browsers from a local drive (for example C:) to a SAMBA-connetced network drive *WITHOUT* changing anything within the file name (length, case etc.). I would be glad to get

UnoC function in survAUC for censoring-adjusted C-index
Hello, I am having some trouble with the 'censoring-adjusted C-index' by Uno et al, in the package survAUC. The relevant function is UnoC. The question has to do with what happens when I specify a time point t for the upper limit of the time range under consideration (we want to avoid using the right-end tail of the KM curve). Copying from the example in the help file: TR <-

Hi Austin, Alas, no, the program cannot be downloaded, but the CD can be ordered (free) from pariyatti.org. Aide error "Caught SIGBUS/SEGV"
One of my servers has recently started giving an error every time I run "aide --check". I ran it manually twice today with the same results. The second time, I added the -V flag, but that didn't give me anything useful. The system is currently running CentOS 5.3. Nothing on the system has changed recently (that I am aware of). The Aide database hasn't been updated in a few

SIGBUS on SPARCv9
Hi there, I run tinc with not ConnectTo, (and it can't tcp-connect to the relevant other tincd, because that tincd is behind a firewall --> that tincd usualy connects to my tincd). If I start that tincd alone (not connected at all) and do a ping some_other_ip, it gets a SIGBUS in route.c:207 in the function route_ipv4_unreachable at the line: hdr->ip_v = 4; This seems to be an
