I am having a hard time getting samba 2.0.4b running on a Sparc20 running Solaris 2.5.1. I have swat and smbd running, but not nmbd. Hello, I'm new to this list. The NT folk here, are concerned about some timeout errors and stuff that appear in their event viewer. They are building a case to convince management that unless these "samba" errors are fixed, we should move to NT file shares. I think this is a bad idea. Can anyone help me out here. Users of ESRI ArcMap (on fully patched Windows XP clients) are unable to read complex layered file data.
