<no subject>
Dear all,
I am still fairly new to R and try to analyze large tables of data generated
from genomic experiment. Currently, I am trying to plot pair of experiments
coming from different file, trying to look at the behavior of individual
feature in pair of experiment.
My problem is that I have independent list from different source and I would
like to plot the pair of value using a common key. As

Samba 3.0.11 Compile Error
Hello.
I'm trying to run Samba on HP-UX (IA64), but I can't compile Samba source.
I have this following packages:
Samba 3.0.11
libiconv 1.9.1
HP-UX 11.23 (IA64)
"configure" process is ok.
At "make" process, I encounters the parsing error.
I attached the compile error log.
Do you have information how to compile Samba on HP-UX (IA64)?

Upgrade to 2.2.9 breaks sasl auth
Hi
This is my 1st time here so please be gentle.
I have encountered one problem since upgrading from 2.0.19 to 2.2.9
which has me beat.
The system provides sasl auth services via inet to a postfix 2.11 system.
Since the upgrade postfix complains of no sasl methods available.
The same dovecot configuration is used on both versions.
Now I get these results looking at the inet connection

textarea fails on rows attribute
Hi,
Camping 1.5.180
Ruby 1.8.6
It looks like Camping is choking on the ''rows'' attribute for input tags:
input(:name => ''cuid'', :type => ''text'', :size => 10, :rows => 3)
That will fail with:
Markaby::InvalidXhtmlError no attribute `rows'' on input elements:

Issue with exim and auth protocol
Hi,
I'm trying to set up exim (4.83) as a submission server, and need to set
up the dovecot authentication in exim. I'm having an issue with that
(documented at <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=756258>)
The problem is that exim doesn't follow the handshake as described here:
<http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Design/AuthProtocol>. The wiki page says that

[PATCH] kbuild: rebuild initramfs if included files changes
This fix has been implemented in preparation for the upcoming klibc
merge in -mm. But as it fixes a real (but rare I hope) bug in vanilla
kernel it will be added to my pending 2.6.17 kbuild queue.
I've done quite some changes to the gen_initramfs script and
being shell programming newbie review by more experienced shell
hackers would be appreciated.

Semaphores
I am running Samba 2.0 and occasionally get a "semaphore timeout period has
expired" message when accessing Samba shares on a Digital UNIX 4.0e server.
Does anyone know what kernel semaphore settings should be. Or could a
upgrade to 2.0.7 help. I new to Samba and am very green with this product.
Thanks

Apache won't start, semaphores exhausted
One of our systems run Apache 2.0.52 (httpd-2.0.52-12.2.ent.centos4
rpm). The kernel we're running is 2.6.9-11.ELsmp. After a few weeks
of uptime, Apache refuses to start with the following error in
error.log:
[crit] (28)No space left on device: mod_jk: could not create jk_log_lock
With Apache not running, there're a lot of semaphores left behind by
Apache, e.g.:

SUNOS: Samba grabs all semaphores
Ole,
Semaphores are a very cheap system resource in SunOS 4.1.x. You can easily
bump up the max number using adb, without even recompiling the kernel.

POSIX semaphores in CentOS 5.1?
According to the man pages for sem_wait, etc., POSIX semaphores are
available in Linux 2.6 (with the right NTPL threading in glibc).
However, I have a program that compiles just fine but won't link because it
can't find the library for the semaphore operations.
What am I missing?
I ran a find and grep through all the libc's on the system and they turned
up nothing:
$ find /lib
