Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo/audio artifacts
I think you are absolutely right. The audio I heard earlier sounds exactly
like a timing issue. So:
wanpipe1.conf:
TE_CLOCK = NORMAL
TE_REF_CLOCK = 0
wanpipe2.conf:
TE_CLOCK = MASTER
TE_REF_CLOCK = 1
zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs
I'm going to make this change and reload at lunchtime, I'll document it and
post it to the list if it works.

Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo/audio artifacts <--followup and resolution
Followup on this issue, it appears that using a single PRI's clock as the
master clock avoids clock drift between the PRI's and we get no more
artifacts. So, :
wanpipe1.conf:
TE_CLOCK = NORMAL
TE_REF_CLOCK = 0
wanpipe2.conf:
TE_CLOCK = MASTER
TE_REF_CLOCK = 1
zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs

which firefox tab is eating my CPU?
According to top, plugin-containe is eating more than 120% of my CPU?
I expect that that is allowed because I have a dual core CPU.
Firefox is sloooooooowwwww.
I expect that plugin-containe... is running in a firefox tab.
How do I non-destructively discover which one?
I'm running CentOS 6 and firefox 24.8.0 .
I haven't updated firefox in a while because I've read
that doing so will

Website, book, paper, etc. that shows example plots of distributions?
By any chance is any one aware of a website, book, paper, etc. or combinations of those sources that show plots of different distributions?
After reading a pretty good whitepaper I became aware of the benefit of I the benefit of doing Q-Q plots and histograms to help assess a distribution. The whitepaper is called:

Verizon SIP "trunking" Field Trial
All,
We are in the process of trying to setup our network to use Verizon's SIP "trunking" product. They say that since Asterisk is not on their certified list of approved devices, we need to go through a field trial to get it approved before allowing us to use their service.
Where we are at is getting the design approved. We are trying to watch our budget at the same time. We

Re: pv_ops kernel and network problems (checksumoffloading?)
Hi,
I found this mail about network problems in the archive.
I think I have the same network problems with a routing (with or without
NAT) domU connected by two network bridges.
The dom0 logs thousands of following messages:
--
Attempting to checksum a non-TCP/UDP packet, dropping a protocol 1 packet
--
and all outgoing TCP packets have wrong TCP checksums (traced on another

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-input-libinput 1.3.0
xf86-input-libinput 1.3.0 is now available. The main feature
in this version is support for the new 'custom' pointer
acceleration profile in libinput 1.23.0. This acceleration profile is
quite flexible, so it is exposed via several properties:
- "libinput Accel Custom Fallback Points" and "libinput Accel Custom Fallback Step"
- "libinput Accel Custom Motion

Re: Benchmarking GPL PV Drivers for Windows between0.9.11-pre13 and 0.10.0.69
Pasi,
Thanks for putting that wiki page together for the dom0 kernels - it's
something that has long been needed for pulling together information on
those kernels. I know it's always a chore for me to find info on how to
get/build a dom0 kernel if I don't like the one that's included with a
distribution.
Thanks!

ACL support - Adding users in NT security tab gives winbindd error message "Can't find domain from sid"
Helo.
I'm running here samba 2.2.4 on redhat 7.2 with kernel 2.4.17 patched with
ACL patches from http://acl.bestbits.at and appropreiate utils.
Samba is member of a NT 4 domain.
I configured (./configure --with-privatedir=/etc/samba
--with-lockdir=/var/lock --with-configdir=/etc/samba --with-quotas
--with-acl-support --with-winbind)
and compiled samba with acl support and in smb.conf I

restricting the windows users security tab with samba acl
Hello,
We're porting all our windows file servers over to linux. I just joined
our samba server to Active Directory and it works great with ACL - I can
add/remove Sales, Marketing, IT groups etc.., unfortunately, so can
everyone else.
Q) How can I restrict our regular windows XP users from manipulating the
"Properties -> Security" tab in file explorer? I'd need to restrict

ACL -Manage with Windows security tab?
Hi Guys,
I am attempting to configure AC:L's I have enabled it in smb.conf for my
share and remounted my fs with acl enabled. However if I attempt to edit
security permissions for the group "Domain Users" it creates two more
group "CREATOR GROUP" and "CREATOR OWNER" and refreshes the security
properties and then just resets the tick boxes i had selected.
