Hi, I have problem upgrading Samba1.9.18p8 to Samba 2.0.0. I had myself a copy of "Samba-2_0_0-SPARC-Solaris-2_6_tar.gz" and after "gunzip" and "tar xf" it I didnt know what to do. Hi, I hope somebody can help me dealing with this problem. I have this problem of installing Samba2 into /opt/samba. How can I make the package install to /opt/samba instead of /usr/local/samba2 ??. I tried linking smbwrapper.so directly into bash, but that only works for bash and not any of the subprocesses it runs. That is bash can cd into the /smb directory and I can do an echo * to list files.
