I am using samba 4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u3 and have winbind running and joined to a windows AD.
When starting winbind everthing works, wbinfo -u, wbinfo -g returns all stuff correct.
But after an hour or so this is being shown in the logs:

Header structure for "video" stream ?

I can see that the "video" structe looks like this, but

Winbind Preauthentication failed
Hi guys!
I started to have the problem above last October, 2th.
I don´t know why and how, because it was saturday. So, my file server
stoped to authenticate against the Samba4 AD.
Today, all shares was stopped and then i restarted my Samba4 AD and the
file server.
All became to work again.
But it im afraid because the problem started by itself.
Thanks!

Testing a forest trusts in Samba 4.4.5 AD environment
Hi List,
I am currently testing inter-forest trusts between a pair of AD domains.
All DCs and member servers are using Sernet Samba 4.4.5.
I have set up conditional forwarding in by Bind setup (I'm using
BIND9_DLZ) and all machines can resolve each other. On the DCs, I can
see users from the other side of the trust using wbinfo -u
--domain=<other domain>. In addition if I set up ID

CO 7.7.1908 Updates not getting to mirrors?
I *know* there has been a lot going on, and congratulations on getting
CentOS 8 out!
But(!), I don't see any updates to CO 7.7.1908 in the "updates" directory
on the mirrors I typically use. All the files date from Sept. 14th.
Is something broken?

Testing a forest trusts in Samba 4.4.5 AD environment
Hi Alex,
Nice information about forest type.
Regarding listing domain users, have you tried to set up samba with:
winbind use default domain = no?

RHEL 7.8 is out
This is not your usual "so when is CO 7.8.xxxx coming out?" posts.
I'm just curious if the CentOS team is affected by our current world
conditions, or is work-from-home modus operandi for the team?
(In other words, "when is CO 7.8.xxxx coming out?")
