Escape ''&'' in text_field_with_auto_complete
Good day. I have searched on the net and through the archives to now avail as of yet. I have a text_field_with_auto_complete that searches for company names. These company names obviously can have an ''&'' in the name of the company (example Barnes & Nobel). The auto complete works beautifully. succession time series graph
Dear gracious R community, I would like to produce charts of phytoplankton biomass changes through time. Each species has a line, and the biomass varies in mirror form along the line for each species along the X time axis. Here is an example of what I'd like to do: http://www.er.uqam.ca/nobel/r30240/Succession.jpg Any suggestions? Thanks David Bird UQAM, Montreal

prstat -Z and load average values in different zones give same numeric results
Folks, Perplexing question about load average display with prstat -Z Solaris 10 OS U4 (08/07) We have 4 zones with very different processes and workloads.. The prstat -Z command issued within each of the zones, correctly displays the number of processes and lwps, but the load average value looks exactly the same on all non-global zones..I mean all 3 values (1,5,15 load averages) are the same

Its been a good day. So, I want to save my work. I don't want to overwrite my current .RData, so I save it to another file: save(file="prize.RData") # just need to email this to the Nobel

Running samba 2.2.7a having installed a Samba machine as password server sharing user info via NIS I have a couple of printers running here at our place. Several of them are only accessible to a select group of people so I defined the concerned printers share as: [PrinterX] valid users = user1, user2, user3 .... ..... Things

GotoIf Syntax to match first digits
how does a GotoIf-challenge look like to match e.g. only the first two digits? i want to strip the first two digits from an incoming pstn-call and add a zero instead so when i forward a call to a mobile the called party gets the correct number of the caller. at the moment, incoming calls from the austrian pstn are recognized as e.g. 43650123123 by asterisk, when i forward the call e.g. to a

Replacing values job
Hallo, I have two vectors of different lengths which contain the same set of values: X < -c(2,6,1,7,4,3,5) Y <- c(1,1,6,4,6,1,4,1,2,3,6,6,1,2,4,4,5,4,1,7,6,6,4,4,7,1,2) How can I replace the values in Y with the index (!) of the corresponding values in X. So 2 appears in X in the first coordinate, so all 2’s in Y should be replaced by 1, etc. Thank you for your help, Serguei

How to synch entire dir???
I hope someone can answer this. I saw another post about this but it had no answer. How do you exclude entire dirs??? I have RTFM, RTF FAQ, RTF Mailing List Archives, and still I can't figure it out. ugh. I am using this: rsync -avz -e ssh --exclude=/Stuff /home/user/Data/Docs/ remotePC:/home/user/Data/Docs/ but "Stuff" is always synched. The actual path to "Stuff"
