Hello, The asGUIclient suite has a predictive dialer component to it(VICIDIAL) and it can function well on multiple Asterisk servers at once using a single MySQL server backend. It performs on par with several mid-level commercial dialers that we have compared it to(Nobel, TripleP, DataTel, etc...) and it is free as in GPL. We will be releasing the next version of the suite this week with many enhancements. http://astguiclient.sf.net/ MATT--- -----Original Message----- From: Kavit Munshi [mailto:kavit@xolinc.com] Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 7:57 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Predictive Dialer Is there a current predictive dilaer software that works with asterisk?? Yes, it can be used to make annoying telemarketing calls. But in our case, we created it initially to use to call back our client base for reminder calls on system maintenance. Previously we had just given agents a list of clients to call each day manually, which was very inefficient and didn't guarantee that we would get a hold of many customers and didn't have agent performance or call logging. With VICIDIAL we greatly improved our tracking of call-backs, we integrated it with our web-based CRM system and it now works with our 800-numbers for inbound as well so we can do blended inbound and outbound calling for a segment of our agents to maximize their productivity(and so they aren't sitting doing nothing during the random gaps in inbound calls coming into the 800 numbers). We have done several other different outbound campaigns in the USA, UK and Australia over the last year as well. During peak campaign times, we've had as many as 80 agents on the VICIDIAL system at once handling over 40,000 calls in and out during one day. Most of the people I've talked to that are using VICIDIAL currently are doing Business to Business calling(Some of the businesses using VICIDIAL: Small Business Trade publications, services targeted to realtors, corporate travel services, Communication services). I'm not sure if Business-targeted telemarketing would qualify as non-annoying, but it is the most common use of VICIDIAL at the moment. And I must mention that for the few Domestic USA campaigns that we have done, we did fully filter our leads against the Do Not Call list, and that is the best way to not get any annoying telemarketing calls here in the US. Hi all: Has anybody used ny of the predictive dialers for Asterisk? I got the assignment of installing one, so I'd like to get any opinions beforehand. I'll post my experiences once installed and up-and-running! Thanks! Jesus Mogollon -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Hi! While the Asterisk feature list (http://www.asterisk.org/features) and many other articles in the web state asterisk has a predictive dialer, I cannot find any information about it. It seems, I have to use a third party product like GnuDialer or VICIDAL (of astGUIclient). Can anyone confirm this or send me a link to the description of the asterisk predictive dialer? Greetings, Marcus
Hello all, I have a client interested in GnuDialer. My question is: Is there anyone on this list who has been using GnuDialer and I was wondering if you would be willing to share your experiences with it. Thank You Adam -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20060309/24830d7d/attachment.htm
OK, so apparently no one is using GnuDialer, is anyone out there using any other predictive dialers on asterisk? Great! Thanks for the info. Sounds like vicidial has more "experience" at least on this list. I will inform my client. There are also many installations in South and Central America and VICIDIAL is available fully translated in Spanish. http://astguiclient.sourceforge.net/vicidial.html MATT--- On 3/10/06, Vladimir Montealegre <v_estailes@tutopia.com> wrote:> wath is the link of the vcidialer? > > Vladimir Montealegre Estailes > Bogota-Colombia > > Este Mensaje Esta Hecho 100% con Electrones Reciclados > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Saul Diaz" <saul@cripiland.com> > To: "Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion" > <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> > Sent: Friday, March 10, 2006 11:29 AM > Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] RE: Predictive Dialer > > > > Adam Vocks wrote: > > > >> OK, so apparently no one is using GnuDialer, is anyone out there using > >> any other predictive dialers on asterisk? > >> > >> > >> Thank you, > >> > >> > >> Adam Vocks > >> > >> > >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > >> > >> *From:* Adam Vocks > >> *Sent:* Thursday, March 09, 2006 12:41 PM > >> *To:* 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' > >> *Subject:* Predictive Dialer > >> > >> > >> Hello all, > >> > >> > >> I have a client interested in GnuDialer. Matt, Without getting into a phone war... What phones or headsets or softphones do you use with your installation?
