Unable to map more than 4 workspaces to keyboard shortcuts on C7.
Hi, I have a new install of c7 with the gnome desktop. I run it with 12 workspaces. Normally I create the shortcuts so that ctrl+f1 maps to workspace 1 ctrl+f2 maps to f2, etc. When I goto applications -> settings -> keyboard -> shortcuts -> navigation, I only have the ability to define "Switch to workspace" 1 through 4. There does not appear to be a way to map keyboard

Problem setting keyboard shortcuts for more than 4 workspaces.
Hi, Does anyone know how to set keyboard shortcuts for more than 4 workspaces? If I goto settings -> devices -> keyboard I see "Switch to workspace {1-4}" I have virtual workspaces configured for 12. I would like to set keyboard shortcuts for all 12 workspaces. Google shows numerous solutions for ubuntu but I cannot get any of them to work on Centos 7 with gnome 3. Regards, --

'attach workspace' on R console File menu
Quite often I save misc functions and data objects as .RData files that I can use in other sessions. Although I could 'Load Workspace" these files, most of the times I prefer attaching them. It would be really convenient to have a menu item under the File menu on the Windows R Console to allow attaching workspaces, e.g. -------------------- Attach Workspace... Load Workspace... Save

Vim-R-plugin (new version)
Dear R users, The author of Tinn-R (Jose Claudio Faria) now is co-author of Vim-R-plugin2, a plugin that makes it possible to send commands from the Vim text editor to R. We added many new key bindings, restructured the menu and created new Tool Bar buttons. The new version is available at: http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2628 NOTES: (1) Some old key binding changed,

non-1 vertical virtual size
For Expo purposes (among others), I like my vertical virtual size to be more than 1 (typically 2). But I bump into several problems with that: - the panel's "worspace switcher applet" doesn't seem to understand it right: - if I tell it to "show all workspaces in 1 row", then my 6 workspaces (3x2) get displayed correctly, but clicking on them only lets me

Can you save an installed library to an .RData file?
It occurred to me that it would be nice to be able to save a library that I have installed an loaded into my workspace for easy sharing. I suppose it might not work if someone's on a different version of R, but usually since the library is just a collection of functions, it seems plausible that you could just save the functions into your workspace. I'm sure this question is a bit naive,

Wine, Windowmaker and the workspace-shortcut
Hi all, I am using wine from SuSe 7.3 Pro on Windomaker to run my Lotus Notes under Linux. My Question: How can I still use my windowmaker-shortcuts to switch to the next workspace (Ctrl-Alt-Right/Left) while running Wine .... Wine does not give me the possibility while running the windows application (Lotus Notes) to accept this shortcut for Windowmaker ... is there a chance to change or

ubuntu packages patch
hi, For compiz ubuntu packages, I made some patchs to have a behavior of compiz nearer to metacity. All patch are made for compiz-0.3.6 and they are more hacks or draft than good fix, i hope they can help. http://gandalfn.club.fr/ubuntu/compiz-patch/90-fix-no-border-window-shadow.patch This patch fix white boxes instead of shadows for gnome-panel and other non-standard windows on AiGLX.

Dragging app between workspaces not working
When I try to drag an app between workspaces, it doesn't move. I'm using compiz. When I put an arrow over an app in the workspace panel viewer (whatever that is called), it says click to start dragging, but no go. Any ideas? Thanks, -wes

question about working with workspaces
Hello everybody, Two - I hope Simple questions about working with workspaces. Is there a way to force R to start in "clean" workspace / avoid "previously saved workspace restored"? When I load workspace"2" working in workspace"1" everything from "1" is written into "2" is there a way to avoid it? Best regards, Daniel Rabczenko

Deleted objects keep coming back
Having a very strange and frustrating problem with v2.0.1 under Mac OSX 10.3. I have several closely related workspaces in the same directory that I need to keep separate from one another (there are a few objects common to all workspaces, and then there are other objects that store the results of different analyses on the common objects, which is why I need separate workspaces). When I

R crash using rpanel on mac os x
Hello, I've recently discovered a persistent issue with rpanel when running R.app (2.6.1) on Mac OS X 10.4.11. tcltk and rpanel load without any apparent error, and the interactive panels appear to work as expected, however upon closing the panels rpanel has created I get catastrophic errors and R crashes completely. For the most part R manages to crash with dignity and work can be saved, but

Smoothly alt+cursoring in and out of fullscreen wine games
I've had CS:S installed before and there wasn't a problem. Basically I want to be able to alt+cursor left and right out of Counter Strike: Source to my other workspaces in Ubuntu 9.10, and when I alt+cursor back to the workspace running CS:S let it still in full screen mode. At the moment the game follows me to the new workspace minimized, and I have to manually click on it in my lower

WINE system tray appears randomly
Hello everyone, I am in the process of adapting my app so it runs well on WINE. My app creates an icon in the system tray on Windows (via the Shell_NotifyIcon API) and it sometimes starts a child process that itself creates another icon in the system tray. It typically starts during interactive user login. So I configured a system with Ubuntu 8.04 (and GNOME) to automatically start my app

possible workspacehandling bug
Hello, first of all I would like to thank everyone for the effort put into the project. I have found a quite peculiar behavior when using Xgl/compiz. Sometimes my windows disappear, if i use ctrl+alt+shift+left/right i can end up in an empty desktop and if I keep holding ctrl+alt+shift and move back to the previous workspace the window moves back just as if it had been moved previously. Also, if
