CreateProcess for Unix binaries
The CreateProcess function sets a lpProcessInformation field. This field is set when a Windows process is called, but erased when a Unix binary (e.g. /bin/sleep 2) is called, so the hprocess handle is unknown. Is there a way to obtain this process handle so that GetExitCodeProcess can be called? I basically want to know when the called process has exited. Thanks

Long delays when deleting a message in inbox
Which log would you suggest? There's nothing for these times in mail.log, messages and syslog. Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 does not register
Hi Mark, yes, you are right... these are different VLANs I configured the other phone to use the same IP (192.168.1.13)... and it worked flawlessly... on the SAME Networkcable in the same plug... so it must have something to do with the polycom phone config... remember... when I use tcp the phone tries to register, but does not even try with udp... thank you, yves Am 21.12.2016 um 13:34

Not seeing other folders with some clients
Hi, With dovecot 1.0.2, depending on the client I can only see inbox, or all the folders. I see all the folders with pine and balsa, but can see only the inbox with squirel mail and thunderbird. Any idea what's going on here ? Thanks. Yves. ---- Yves Dorfsman yves at zioup.com

PATCH to Samba >= 2.2.1, accents and special chars
Okay, I've had some fun there. Let me tell I am no samba pro, so the patch below _should be tested and tested again_ in _your_ environment before doing anything close to putting your patched samba into production. It can possibly break everything. You have been warned. The mail is somehow longish, because sending a quick (and dirty) patch without any explanation seems wrong to me. And

NaN sanity check not present in tree.
Hi, I'm still Yves. This other fix <https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1061499/> never made it to opus repository. It seems safe and sane enough to be applied to opus master branch. What do you think? -- Warm regards, Yves -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Cannot delete folder
I guess you have had different version(s) or setting(s) in the past, and you can probably fix this by setting perms to same as the new folders. Int overflow fix not present in tree.
Hi! I'm Yves, bit fiddler, hoping to roll a fresh version of libopus into chromium. This fix <https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1072869/> never made it to opus repository. Was it intentional? If so, what is the rational? If not, could the fix be applied on the libopus master branch? Thanks for the amazing work! -- Warm regards, Yves -------------- next part

RODBC
Firstly can I add my congradulations to the R core team on the release of v1.0.0 and my thanks for all their hard work. To the subject of this message: does anyone have a binary version of Michael Lapsley's RODBC package built for win32 that they can distribute? I have a solution where I can use Perl ODBC functions to dump data to a text file for reading in to R, but I think the direct ODBC

Assuming '8' = mail, i cannot see anything wrong here... Can you turn on 'mail_debug=yes' and attempt folder deletion, and check logs after that? Cholesky update/downdate
Dear R-devel members, I am looking for a fast Cholesky update/downdate. The matrix A being symmetric positive definite (n, n) and factorized as A = L %*% t(L), the goal is to factor the new matrix A +- C %*% t(C) where C is (n, r). For instance, C is 1-column when adding/removing an observation in a linear regression. Of special interest is the case where A is sparse. Looking at the
