GTA San Andreas Issue
I trying play GTA San Andreas and it is returning " Cannot find 800x600x32 video mode". I worried so my wine Games pointed for a Working Directory that register a dosdevice instead of drive_c. Thereby I'm getting" /home/normal/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas" path and "win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x177f6dc,0x00000000), stub!"

GTA: San Andreas Running Real Slow
Hi Folks, I got GTA: SA to start (even though the first screen is blank until I hi ENTER), but usually 5 sec. into it, it'll start to run really slow. So slow I can't play the game. I'm running Fedora 8 with a nVidia 8600 GT. I believe I have the manufacturer's drivers installed or lvidia, but I can't tell. I do have WoW working on it just fine, if that helps any. Thanks.

GTA San Andreas: Problems with Sound
Well, I installed GTA San Andreas with Wine(Version 1.3.10) under Ubuntu 10.10 yesterday. To get it run, I checked "Emulate Virtual Desktop" and "Allow Window Manager to manage the Windows" (or something like that) in under "Configure Wine". It worked well, even the cutscenes, the dialogs and the radio worked. For some reason it even runs faster under WINE than under

Running GTA Classics.
After downloading the first two Grand Theft Auto games from the Rockstar Classics website, and installing the first game I received this error: > MGL Fatal Error! > Error 268.473 > Cannot find a suitable display mode. After a bit of searching, I believe that this is a problem with running the game under Wine, and not with my PC. Then, although I probably should have checked first, I

Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the forum, Wine and Linux in general. Anyways, to the point: I installed GTA San Andreas yesterday and it did work until the evening. Now it says it cannot find the sound card, causing it to quit immediately. In the Wine configuration, I selected all drivers (doesn't work otherwise), a sample rate of 48000 at 16 bits per sample. As Windows version, I chose

GTA San Andreas camera and graphics problems
Hey guys. Several months ago I made a youtube video helping people run San Andreas on their mac by building their own wineskin wrapper for it. The response is about 50/50, some have no problems at all, others have basically the same 3 problems. I personally can't figure out these most common problems so I'm hoping you guys will be able to assist me. 1. "I can't control the
