The issue is, I'll have to install every program and library 3 or more times!!! I can have that issue in the way! They won't be as patient as me! hello guys... well as my first post i want to say when i try to install rhino it says: ...The installer requires Windows installer 3.0 or newer... so when i try to download that (as a last resort [Wink] ) it fails... so if anyone can help thats great but if not... well this thread is mainly an error report... Hello I uninstalled wine 1.01 and tried to install wine 1.1.6 with GDebi package installer. but after clicking on install package nothing happens. Wine doesnt appear in applications -> system tools. on side note, i couldn't install 1.1.27, because of libfontconfig error.

Hi, I am having some trouble to some Office software with wine. The Program itself starts without problems and runs quite fine. But unfortunatly I am not able to connect to our local Datebase. My Ubuntu Linux itself doesnt seem to have any problems in connecting to the server (but I admit that I don't know how to check if I can access the port 5143 that is used to connect to the database.).

Hi, I have little experience with Wine. I use it to run two old applications I made on Windows98. With WINE 1.4 installed on Ubuntu 11.10 32 bits, they both run fine. On my new install of Ubuntu 12.10 64 bits, with the same settings, one of them won't run. First I installed WINE 1.5.3 from the Wine ppa. Then I uninstalled it and installed WINE 1.4 from the Ubuntu repositories. In both
