Regsvr32 running through Gecko
Interestingly enough, when Wine goes to update my .wine prefix, the updater is trying to run regsvr32 through Gecko. Of course, this crashes and the debugger cannot attach to the process as it terminates. err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\\windows\\system32\\msdatsrc.tlb" failed with error 2 Is this the desired action or should I 'flush' my .wine and start

Wine's regsvr32 use
Hi, I have a program that tries to launch regsrv32. Since a replacement has been made by Andriy & Jorgen, i should be able to remove the orignial regsvr32.exe and wine's regsvr32.so. Unhandled exception with regsvr32
I've more-or-less successfully installed IE6 under 20050111. It works fine but PNG's don't display, so I tried reregistering the pngfilt dll: wine regsvr32 c:\\windows\\system\\pngfilt.dll wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger... Can't use regsvr32.exe in Darwine
I need to register dxdiag.dll to run Final Fantasy XI, but the program regsvr32.exe can't be used to do so because I cannot input any command line codes for Darwine... I'm a bit new at using this so I'd like to know if there's a way I could register this DLL or use regsvr32

Is there a difference ...?
Doh123, how is running a program off an NTFS partition asking for trouble? Ntfsprogs seems to handle it just fine. I know that NTFS doesn't let you mark a file as executable, and that the filesystem is susceptible to fragmentation, but you should just be able to tell it to run rather than display and be good. It shouldn't cause destruction. I think there might even be an NTFS defrag tool
