Hello dear all, my windows game plays mp3 sounds. (the game is C-evo) the game runs fine under wine except for mp3 sounds. my platform is Fedora 9-WINE 1.0. The audio test in winecfg works fine. Trying to solve the problem, I"ve installed a mp3 Fraunhofer codec in wine (an exe file) ; problem remains. At linux level I have no mp3 codec installed. Does any one has a clue to such problem ?

Wing Commnader Prophecy (multiple CD's) install doesn't give any problem (due to its small pop-up format window) and the game plays well until I come to the next CD. I went though a good amount of trouble to install the game, because you need to be in the UK to install it, but I'm in the USA. Hello, I am currently away from my computer so I can't post error logs. However, when I start Diablo 2, it soon turns black (though I can see the menu and also start the game with my character) and my monitor tells me that the signal frequency is out of range. The game closes itself. Where can I change my signal frequency rate for this application?

I have installed Wine and a couple of Windows packages, but the Wine desktop in my Ubuntu OS only shows the upper left hand 1/4 of the screen. Clicking on the maximize leaves the 1/4 page showing but the rest of the screen is a black border. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? As the topic says i am interested in the commands that can be issued after using wine game.exe (e.g wine game.exe -opengl).
