Hi, I have recently started using WINE with the wineasio driver to run my Windows audio apps. In Windows I did a lot of work using MIDI Yoke (a virtual 'MIDI cable' driver). The Linux equivalent is the snd-virmidi ALSA driver. I find, however, that WINE does not send MIDI messages throught the virmidi ports to Linux Apps. Yesterday I tried to compile wine asio.I am running debian Squeeze and tried both the lenny and sid wine repos..but on compiling wine asio.it errors out and cant find ..now this was yesterday so i cant remember the exact name ..but it was something like lobc32 ..something like that..maybe logbc32..but anyway..I uninstalled wine and wine-dev..and installed debian version of wine..it 1.0.1 along

HI... i have 2x KXStudios 10.x, Lucid in the same PC. 2x different HDDs, but exactly same Hitachi Ultrastar. One has TangoStudio1.1-RT Kernel 2.6.xx the other has Generic Kernel 2.6.23-33 the reason for this is the FGLRX drivers that does not support -RT Kernels. one has Wine1.3.15 the other Wine1.3.26 the Generic Kernel + Wine 1.3.26 has problems with WineASIO JACK. if i could re-install

I'm trying to run ableton live, but the program won't boot up unless pulseaudio driver is unchecked through winecfg. What can I do about installing maybe a usb audio driver for my audiogram 3? I can run most midi apps in wine through timidity with no problem but there are quite a few apps which don't allow you to assign the midi output to timidity such as Media Player Classic or WM player 6. They try to use the windows default which is of course MS synth or Emu10k1. There must be a way of mapping the midi output in wine from such apps to timidity but I just can't get it to
