bcm43xx CentOS5
Hi there,
i am looking for a bit of advice on how to proceed with a wee problem
that i am having.
I have a BCM4306 pcmcia card (one of the later revisions) that i use
to connect to my wpa2 wireless network.
This is running on an old Dell Latitude (circa 1999).
I used to use fedora (7,8 and then 9) on this but 2.6.23 and 2.6.25
stopped populating various bits of /proc/acpi with the relevant

minor build problem
I'm trying to build from the latest SVN sources on Mac OS X 10.4.3
and I seem to be having a problem making the documentation.
When I do make install, i get the following:

make[1]: Nothing to be done for `front-matter'.
SVN-REVISION is unchanged

Internet access not working on CentOS but on Windows when travelling
Hello,
I'm currently travelling (in south-eastern Europe) with a netbook
(Samsung NC 10) running CentOS 5.4 i386.
I frequently try to access internet from bars or hotels (mostly via wireless).
Although it works pretty often, it happens quite regularly that in
some hotels I cannot access internet from CentOS while it is possible
from Windows.
This is the case in the hotel where I am currently

Polycom Delay
Hey everyone,
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction for this.
Currently we have two offices, all using Polycom 601 Revsion E I think.
All have the same configurations and firmware versions.
The differences:
Office A: public IP address.
Office B: NAT (router has a static IP)
Office A: Same state as the asterisk server (Michigan)
Office B: Wisconsin
Office A: T1 network to the

internet wireless network requirements
I currently am using CentOS 4.4 desktop computer. What would I need to recieve an internet signal from a wireless router that is connected to an Apple computer that is located upstairs? I am in the basement less than 150 feet from the Apple computer. I do not have wireless card in the CentOS desktop computer and am looking for a card to install to accomplish this.

Yeah, I agree. I’ve tried running the tests with the assert in place and there’s about 1000 failures across llvm/clang. I’ll see what I can fix as I would like to get these to behave. There

Cross-VPN Browsing
Hey all,
I'm having a bit of a problem with cross-subnet browsing where one of
the subnets is managed by an OpenVPN server.
My network is set up with a central wireless router running OpenWRT.
192.168.10.x is the subnet for wired hosts and 192.168.20.x is the
subnet for wireless hosts. To allow cross-subnet browsing, the OpenWRT
router is running as a WINS server (samba).
Now, I've

FWIW, I agree with Mehdi that we should just assert that our types don't
get called with size zero.
That said, I don't think we can be terribly cavalier with what we expect
from standard allocator types, operator new, or malloc. And so I would
expect LLVM_ATTRIBUTE_RETURNS_NOALIAS to not imply NONNULL, and while it
seems reasonable to put NONNULL on *our* allocate function because of the

For what it is worth it, gas has this strange behaviour.
I agree it is strange, but why is it an issue for r239440? Will I get
a failure if I revert it?
Cheers,

Nested NAT'd subnet
Hey all, quick question:
I have a server running Samba 2.2.3a which has two NAT'd private domains
behind it (192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.88.0/24). The .88.0 subdomain has
a wireless AP/router on it (192.168.88.254) which also does NAT (the
wireless machines are on 192.168.92.0/24). The router has the IP of the
second internal NIC as its gateway; the wireless machines have the

Weird routing problem (2 internet connections)
Hello,
I have a very strange problem that I can''t seem to be able to figure out.
First of all: my network scheme: http://heavyg.safehex.be/network.png
I have an agreement with my neighbour that I can use his wireless
network to experiment with extra internet uplinks in exchange for some
filesharing etc.
Now I have set up a wireless router at my place, that connects to his
network.
