When playing WoW through Wine (1.3.6) my video settings are limited because some of them require "2G or more CPU memory". Another computer in the house can play in Windows with those settings maxed out on a graphics card that only has 1G built in, so the setting doesn't mean graphics memory. Advanced Diary (a simple calendar/journaling program)installed fine, but when I go to run it the splash screen for the program shows up then I get an error box that says: Error Creating Object. If I have two different versions of wine installed, do I need to install each program I want to run through wine is a separate folder, or will they both get the data from the one .wine folder in the home directory? Is there anything special I need to know or do before building the new version so that it doesn't mess up by current version in case I need to go back to that? The newest

So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed.
