Directshow filters 0.64.7878
Updated again... theora works and seeks properly (not to keyframe) in WMP 9
and 10.
You can encode from a bunch of onew input types like RGB32, RGB24, IYUV etc.
And fixed a bug that was stopping the filters being used in a activeX
control in an IE browser.

OGG/Vorbis DirectShow
Hi!
On http://www.vorbis.com/software.psp?pid=2 ( Other Vorbis software
for windows ) there is a link called "Ogg Vorbis DirectShow Filters"
pointing to http://sf.net/projects/mediaxw That project is dead !
But there is another vorbis DS project at
http://tobias.everwicked.com/oggds.htm , which is actively developed.
How about updating the vorbis.com page to point to this DS-vorbis

Theora DirectShow component questions - help!
I followed the directions on the Theora website to download the .ax file and
the Visual Studio project to build the DLL. I then registered the ax file
using the regsvr32 tool.
Then I started up the DirectShow tool called 'GraphEdit' where you can see
all the installed DirectShow filters and create the filter graphs. In the
list of all DS filters, I could find the following 3 filters:

Ogg Vorbis DirectShow status ?
Hi!
What is the status of DirectShow support (read: playy vorbis in Windows
Media Player 9 or 10 ) ?
The vorbis.com web pages only link to some ancient web pages (xwmedia and
tobias).
I remember there was a wiki page about setting this up (partially written by
me),
but can't find it any more.
Was the idea of playing ogg/vorbis in DS applications dropped ?

David

DirectShow PushSource with theora encoder and Ogg muxer filters
Hi all,
I am trying to test DirectShow PushSource example from the SDK with
Theora encoder and Ogg muxer (DirectShow filters of course) by using
GraphEdit tool. My goal is capturing the screen as video by taking
snaphot bitmaps continuosly (what PushSource eaxmple does) and giving
them to the Theora encoder through the DS pipeline (next goal is
transmitting this video **).
My DirectShow graph is

Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
At my company we have a bunch of music in FLAC format. We want to play
it using the Windows Media Player, but none of us can get the
illiminable DS filters to work. Here are some details.

Directshow in wine
Hello
I'm trying to make a video subtitling program (my own) run on Wine, and mostly i have succesfully gotten it up and running, everything seems to be working apart from the cruicial video part.
The video part of the application is running directshow and Wines implementation of Directshow seems to be severely lacking, so my question is: Is anybody working on that part of wine? or should i

[PATCH][RFC] Adapt Theora frame rate to DirectShow clock
Hello,
Here are my patches to adapt the Theora frame rate of the encoded stream
to the DirectShow clock.
Theora has a fixed frame rate for a video stream, contrary to a DirectShow
stream. When Theora do not know the frame rate of a video device, it
defaults to 30 fps, and the resulting stream playbacks too fast or too
slow depending on the video device frame rate.
For example, a DV cam (PAL, 25

Using the VP3 ENCODER in a DIRECTSHOW GRAPH wit defined quality and BANDWIDTH - HOW?
Hello,
Due to some licensing changes (and because I actually want to promote
this, too) I want to replace our usage of Intel Indeo 5 with VP3 in a
video conferencing pplication we are just developing (check:
http://www.stnadby24.no/ for infos (english language) on the
application).
My problem is this: I need to define at least the bandwidth. I am
feeding full frames from the camera with a given

My issues with ogg and directshow...
Listening to the meeting on granule pos tonight/today it became clear that
the issues everyone is concerned with for the most part don't affect my
implementations and the issues i have pretty much don't affect anyone
else... and in the cases where they overlap, the reasoning seems to be
different. And since everyone else has had a lot more time to consider all
these issues and i'm

Problem running applications on Kubuntu 7.04
Hi,
Wine came with Internet Explorer. I also installed FLV Player and the Orion Platinum demo to test.
Only FLV Player will run. Internet Explorer opens (and installs the Gecko engine), but then freezes - i.e. big white nothing.
When I try to run the Orion demo, all I get is errors:
Code:

Problems with Theora DirectShow filters
Hi,
I'm trying to capture video and audio from a webcam in order to encode it with
the Theora and Speex DirectShow-filters. For audio, this filter graph plays
fine: http://www.huitl.de/mic-speexenc-speexdec-out.png.
The video part is problematic. Please have a look at

Re: Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
Thanks Christian.
Now I can play my FLAC files with WiMP.
I uninstalled the illuminable package and then installed the Matroska.
The result was the opposite that I got for the illuminable: the
illuminable package registered the types but WiMP couldn't find the
codecs, the Matroska didn't register the types but it did make the
codecs available. This is much preferable of course

Further bug discovered with the Directshow decoder
Hi good people,
Just to inform:
I finally fed FFMpeg2Theora with a .VOB input, and the .OGV output produced played back beautifully in VLC, both audio and video. However, the same output .OGV file gave clicks and pops in the audio when fed through Directshow programs. I played it through Windows Mediaplayer as well as through Winamp, with the same crackles in the audio, and this leads me to
