I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.04 and Wine 1.3.0 I've followed the How To guides and tried running the install from the terminal window. I get just past installing DirectX then the install window claims that it's installing BsSndRpt.exe concurrently the feature transfer error window pops up. I really don't know how to fix the problem. Huhu, I installed MS Freelancer via PlayOnLinux, but I have some graphics lags ingame/the game was redicoulus slow, I also wasn't really able to start a new game since the game hang up (kinda. So I got ye olde winetricks. When I try and get it to install DX9 all goes well until it actually begins unpacking files. Then the terminal pops up with a nasty error msg. err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 and when it's all over with, DX9 is not installed. What's going on here? And how do I fix it?
