It's like the sound channel is occupied by the music player so wine cannot playback any soundfiles. I'm playing Heroes of Might and Magic II, and it's working as expected--except that music from the CD will not play (all other sounds work fine). This is an issue not experienced by other users, so I have some hope that it can be solved; I'm just not sure how to do it, though. I hope someone can give me a hint. I have exactly the same problem. I encoded a BWF file to flac and then then decoded back to wav, using --keep-foreign-metadata, and I ended up with a bit-perfect copy of the original BWF. Thomas, Do you by chance know which players are ignoring the content-type headers? I have done quite a bit of testing for that exact issue but haven't ran into any problems.
