Generally I use Wine to play games. But some of them can freeze my pc during closing game, so I can only reboot my PC. I dlike to ask how to disable full screen mode in games? I tried use command: Code: wine game.exe -w or Code: wine game.exe -window but it doesn't work I tried also use virtual desktop, but it look like this: [Image: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/5283/stunt.th.png ]

Is there way to temporarily switch off the control wine's windows by window manager for some (in my case only for 1 fullscreen game) applications? Thank you for your time.

Hello, when I run a fullscreen app through WINE such as WoW and I ctrl-alt-d to do something on the desktop then try to go back to the game my WINE window is no longer full screen, it shows up in the middle of the desktop at about 1/2 the size of the screen. Before the new Ubuntu update all I had to do was switch workspaces and switch back, but now that isn't working. Any ideas?

Hi I tried play this game on wine from version 1.1.1 to 1.1.9 but this game don't work properly! Game runs and works very slow and there are graphics artifacts. Hi everyone, I have a problem playing fullscreen flash videos with wine. Whenever I try to maximize an embedded flash video (for example in youtube), my screen freezes and I have to Ctl+Alt+Backspace.
