Hello, GTA Vice City will not start saved or new games anymore in Wine 0.9.41. When you start the game, it displays the menu (after you pressed a random key to skip the intro movie, which does not play). Hello, first of all: I used Google and the internal search of the forum. And no, I did not find a solution except using Wine 1.2.2 instead. I am running wine 1.10 with the latest nVidia drivers, the 180 series. Now, everytime I shoot at the glass, or somebody breaks it, hl2 crashes without any unusual output. Just all it does is exit. Has anyone gotten this game to run in Ubuntu 8.04? If so, how did you get it to work? When I try to run the game in a terminal, I get this error "Resource\Resource.000". Is there any special libraries you need in the Wine Configurations?

Why does Wine keep adding another Cdrom drive when I only have one? I'm using Ubuntu 8.04, everytime I erase the second drive wine adds it back eventually.

Has anyone successful played Dragon Age using an ATI/AMD graphics card? I have it running great on my Nvidia card with winetricks but not on my ATI HD 4870. All I get is a black screen with none of the models showing up ingame. Are ATI/AMD drivers still not playing nice with WINE?
