Hi, I have good news about running Outcast in Wine! Since Wine 1.0-rc2, I can play the Outcast Demo perfectly in Wine (with high quality settings)! The only problem is that the game doesn't run in fullsreen which is a little boring because the Outcast maximum resolution is 512x384... I also get few errors in a terminal output probably due to the main menu (not important!).

hi! i run quake2(an ooooold game) with wine, and it works perfectly with opengl and it seems to works ok, but, when i try to write something in the game-console i can't, i see the game but i can't use my keyboard on it. The same thing happen to me with jedi outcast II, i see the game but i can't use my keyboard.. the mouse works fine, but not the keyboard. thanks for your help.

I have a couple of problems when running Red Alert under WINE 20010326 on SuSE 7.2. Firstly, I run at 1024x768. When I run Red Alert it automatically drops the resolution to 640x480, however, it keeps the desktop at 1024x768, hence a virtual desktop. Is it possible to run steam like normal, in gnome, and have the games it launches run in virtual desktop mode? I have installed StarCraft succesfully, but the screen resolution is only 600x480, how do I change it to 1024x768? I have tried to write: wine --desktop 1024x768 starcraft.exe but that makes the area available 1024x768 inside a 600x480 resolution! Sincerely Jesper
