some ports not stealthed?
I''ve installed this fine software on my home network and am very pleased with the ease of installation and especially the documentation. My firewall box masq''s a private net via dialup modem. Configuration is almost exactly as described in the two-interface example. My question regards the result of a "internet test scan" that I found via google search...when I run

ShieldsUp scan
Hi, I''m a home user who doesn''t understand the workings of the Shorewall firewall (or the linux OS on which I''ve just installed it) very well. Having just installed Shorewall 1.4.6c with a default "home user" configuration I gave it a run against the online ShieldsUp scan. Main surprise was that the ICMP echo was enabled. I''ve since gone into

Start recording during call by pressingbutton sequence
Zac, Thanks for the input. This would cover it, however it is not stealth. In some cases, you may want it to be stealth. Again, my state allows me to do this, but some states do not. I've done a little searching and could not find an answer. Basically, to simplify the question: When is it legal to record interstate calls without giving notice, when the recording party is in a one-party

NPTL & Wine
Hi, My main systems are Gentoo based. I am investigating switching to NPTL on one of them that uses a couple of different versions of Wine built from source. In doing the research I found that the Gentoo ebuilds for Wine use NPTL. Does this mean that if I switch to NPTL that I must recompile my source-caode based versions of Wine? If so, can someone tell my what options I would use, most likely

CentOS 4.4, libstdc++ 3.4.6 and NPTL
Hi, I have been using CentOS 4 on a UML (User-Mode Linux) box for some time (>1 year) and have kept up to date with updates. I think I started on CentOS 4.1 and have progressively "yum update"'d since. User-Mode Linux, or at least the version of it that my hosts use, doesn't support NPTL. This hasn't been a problem to date; I've just moved /lib/tls out of the way, as

SIP Witch
Is anyone out there using SIP Witch in conjunction with Asterisk? It claims to be able to "enhance existing IP-PBX solutions such as Asterisk", so maybe it can be used as a simple means to provide secure/encrypted calls. [LLVMdev] Assert with getZExtValue()?
Eli, Thanks for responding. Yes, I read the error message but it seems odd that it would be trying to use more than 64 bits. It compiles and executes in gcc on 32 bit arch just fine. I'll probably take your suggestion and file a bug with a reduced testcase. Thanks again, Ryan On Fri, Nov 16, 2012 at 3:10 PM, Eli Friedman <eli.friedman at gmail.com>wrote: > On Fri, Nov 16, 2012
