eudora
Hi folks, I'm new to WINE and have actually read the docs, so go easy on me. My machine is setup to dual boot between Red Hat 7.2 and Windows2000. This is what I get when I try to run Eudora 5.1 from my Win2k partition. This is as far it'll go--no window ever displays. I get identical results with either WINE 20020122 or a CVS snapshot from yesterday evening. Let me know if

Can't load native dll
When I try to load winelib dll I get an error message: "err:module:MODULE_LoadLibraryExA Loading of native DLL <dllname> failed (error 193), check this file." The error message is printed for call: DllHandle = LoadLibrary(DllName); This happens even when I try to load standard Wine dlls, like dlls/msisys.ocx.so Did I miss something obvious? Thanks, Andriy Palamarchuk

Want to help Wine project?
This message is for those who wants to help Wine project but do not know where to start. We need contributors of a wide range of skills. The minimal requirements are: access to a computer with Linux (or other Unix-like system) where you can use Wine. We have a lot of tasks which are relatively easy to do. The fact that these tasks are easy does not mean they are not important. Examples of the

dll issues
Hi all, Firstly, I wanted to say thanks to all of the developers that have spent so much time creating wine. I have a few questions though, my soon-to-be-father-in-law has requested that I erase windows on his computer and put linux on. That's all well in good, I've had quite a few years experience with linux. However, he does have a few windows programs for which there is no free

FreeType 2.1.2
I upgraded FreeType to 2.1.2 and it broke WINE. Is there a simple way to link WINE to: "libfreetype.so.6.3.0" rather than: "libfreetype.so.6"? Or, is there some other way to fix it? -- JRT

Translation wine documentation to other languages
Sorry for crossposting initial message to both lists. I think the topic may be interesting for both - users and developers. Any volunteers to help to translate the documentation to languages other than English? This is very big job, so there can be more than one person, working on the same language. Among responses to my call for volunteers I got response from Pedro Restrepo suggesting his help

Visual Sourcesafe HOWTO
I went to the trouble of setting up Visual Sourcesafe on a Linux system recently. There was a fair amount of futzing required, so I've documented what I had to do at http://www.kegel.com/linux/vss-howto.html Comments and corrections welcome. I'd also love to know how to get this working without hardcoding NT usernames and passwords! The commandline app appears to be fully functional
