I did find a say to get to the directory holding wpwin9 and it strarted but then froze with the splash screen. Hi, I've managed to run counterstrike under wine, at 1024 with opengl (cool! and it runs pretty fast!), but there is only sound at the menu. When i start the game, there is no sound at all. When I get back to the menu and click on the buttons, it sounds strange. If i restart wine, the sound is OK again, until i start the game. I'm running wine under Redhat 7, with KDE and Xfree86

Hey all, just upgraded to wine 1.2rc7 and am noticing an issue while playing cs1.6. I'll be playing in full screen mode when all of a sudden my regular xcursor will "pop-up" over my crosshair and intense lag starts up (FPS < ~5). Hi! I installed wine in Kubuntu and afterwords i installed steaminstaller from my CSs CD! I could execute both steam and CSs very fast and without problems. I veryfied that my ATI drivers were properly installed, which they where. So no problems there :) ! Then I configured my video options in CSs (16:10 1680 x 1050) and started up the game, but then I got some strange problem with the screen.
