similar to: wine font colors (age of empires 2)

Hi, Wine seems to run UT fine and is nice and quick. The only problem I have is that the mouse does not seem to work for looking up and down (or side to side). The mouse buttons fire the guns, but the mouse movement seems to be locked to standard X11 window functions. Is there any way or setting ut to control the mouse fully? Thanks, Neil

Hi all, I took the CVS from WineX (as mentioned on the transgaming.com Website). I downloaded fine and compiled fine. But: I have only a wine exec, but no winex. In the tools subfolder, there is a winex. But when I run it it just states, that some dir´s are missing (/usr/lib/transgaming and so on). The exec winex is only a script, no bin. Does somebody know how to build a real winex with DX8

I can't seem to get Age of Empires II to run after successful installation. I have created a new WINEPREFIX directory and installed it there and tried first without directx and with it. It is gold on the appdb so I'm a bit surprised. OS is Ubuntu 8.10 and I have tried with wine 1.1.15, 1.1.14 and 1.01. Each time it dumps the memory. Thanks for any help.

I am trying to get the latest CVS of WineX running on my box, Mandrake 8.1. I have run into a compile problem, and I am not having any luck finding anything about this. The configure and make depend go fine.
