page count logging samba/cups
Hi, I know this subject appeared a few times on this list, but I've tried some of solutiuons presented there, and nothing works. I have a CUPS server and HP LaserJet 2200 printer. I downloaded postscript driver for this printer from cups.org, installed it in CUPS and then installed it using cupsaddsmb in Samba. This driver now installs automatically on my Windows clients. Problem is that

call_once and TSan
Same problem exists, thread A can still be within REAL(call_once), but after it ran user code and set the flag to ~0. Roughly, call_once does: __call_once(flag, arg, func) { mutex_lock(mut); if (flag == BEING_INITIALIZED) { wait } else if (flag == NOT_INITIALIZED_AT_ALL) { flag = BEING_INITIALIZED; mutex_unlock(mut); func(arg); // <=== user code callback

Unable to connect MS Lan Manager Client for DOS to SAMBA
Hello!! First some facts: The serwer is SAMBA 2.2.1a running on a R.H. Linux 7.2. The client is MS Lan Manager Client 2.2c.0 running under DOS 6.22. During the client`s installation the option 'Basic' was picked up. SAMBA is running in share level security. Now I can only connect to SAMBA shares which are 'guest ok' even when I specify password with the 'net use'

Re: Wine MS Office 2000 in Ubuntu 8.1
Exactly the same problem!!! Kundeninformationen (German) required after installation of Microsoft Office 2000 when I tried to start Word or Excel. I also couldn't install MS Office XP. The installation stopped after a few seconds without any hints. Got anyone a idea??? Is Microsoft Internet Explorer required? Miki

MS Office 2000 cd key problem
I got Office installed fine with the product key. Worked very fast and I relogged in and it was sitting within Wine's menu all neat and ready to go. Then I open Word and it asks for the key again, I give it to it, but it doesnt like it. Keeps asking me until it finally closes out the program. Is there a way to get around this? Thanks!

MS Office 2000, and Shockwave, under wine 0.9.1
There was a time when I managed to get Office 2000 (or those parts of it I wanted) and Shockwave both installed in wine, using winetools. However, under later versions, that is not suitable. I am wondering if anyone has yet succeeded. My specific problems: Office installer: when I get to the part where I choose the required components, the icon to indicate the installation type selected for

Hi, I am new to Linux, I am running Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy. I have installed Wine 1.0 and used it to install some Windows applications and it has worked successfully. However, I have tried installing MS Office 2000 Premium, and I can't register it properly, I have checked out the AppDB and there is a method of registering it on there but it looks hideously complicated so unless someone can

Wine MS Office 2000 in Ubuntu 8.1
Hi I can install Office 2000 OK but when coming to run any application word or excel I can't get these to run - up pops the a Welcome to office 2000 window asking to change the user name, initials and organisation in ~/.wine/system.reg. Then I need to reenter the CD code. I do this and I am given 2-3 attempts to do so then the application crashes. Note I can open a word document but can do

Problems on recent versions of Wine - MS Office 2000 and Shockwave
I don't make that much use of Wine but do sometimes need real MS Word, and sometimes like to play some of the games on the shockwave.com site. However, there have been a number of upgrades recently to Wine and these have now stopped working with the following symptoms: Office: Running applications from an existing install says "This application must be installed to run. Hi Manuel, I believe you're maintaining Phabricator at reviews.llvm.org <http://reviews.llvm.org/>. Duncan likes to send his patch comments via email, like in the example below. Do you know why don't his replies get imported into the web interface? The reply was sent to "reviews+D24569+public+a5763c0a090df06f at reviews.llvm.org
