Why are all repos < 5.6 listed?
Greetings all.
I just enabled all repos on my system, to enable me to find
a particular package. This is the first time I have noticed
all the Centos repos < 5.6 being listed.
Is this a new feature, to include all repos pre 5.6 now?
Here's the output of the aforementioned yum command - sorry
it's a little bit long:
[root at karsites ~]# yum --enablerepo '*' --disablerepo

Badness in local_bh_enable at kernel/softirq.c:140
I''m getting subj trying to run linux-iscsi-4.0.2 on domain0.
I tried xen-2.0.6, xen-2-test and xen-3-devel. The same results.
I found similar complaints regarding this problem like below:
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0503.1/1622.html
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0503.1/1621.html
Not sure if it is xen or linux-iscsi related bug.
Any ideas how to cure it

miro from rpmforge appears to have dep solving issues
Hi folks,
Anyone know the whereabouts of libgtkembedmoz.so()(64bit) as it is
needed by miro-1.0-1.el5.rf.x86_64 (rpmforge)
I tried a whatprovides and have looked at epel as well as rpmforge - no
luck.
While I'm asking, I'm looking for an internet HD TV viewer - miro looked
interesting - any other products you know of?
TIA
Rob

[Bridge] recent 2.6 kernels hang on bridge shutdown
With recent 2.6 kernels, the command
brctl delbr br0
hangs during shutdown, and the kernel prints this message again and again:
unregister_netdevice: waiting for br0 to become free. Usage count = 1
I was able to reproduce this problem with several kernels between
(and including) 2.6.9-rc1 and 2.6.11-rc2-bk9.
I haven't tried later versions than 2.6.11-rc2-bk9 yet.
2.6.8.1-bk2 still works

5.1 - kernel-2.6.18-53.el5.centos.plus.i686.rpm: [Errno -1] Package does not match intended download
Thank you for the great CentOS.
When trying to update from 5.0 to 5.1, I get an error regarding the
centos.plus kernel and headers, "[Errno -1] Package does not match
intended download".
What'd I do?

rp_filter and fib_validate_source sequence in KPTD
Hello all,
My question:
- - - - - - -
Does anybody know when the reverse path filtering occurs as the packet
traverses the kernel?
Does it happen before NF_IP_PRE_ROUTING (PREROUTING) or not?
Does it only happen at route selection time?
What I have tried to do to find the answer:

Fwd: Running R from terminal in ubuntu 16.04 gives Fatal Error message
I just installed R 3.4.4 and Rstudio on my computer with the OS Ubuntu
16.04. Rstudio detects the Installation of R and works normally. However,
trying to run R in the terminal I get this error:
*Fatal error: unable to open the base package*
I have trying setting the R_HOME using:
*export R_HOME=/usr/lib/R*
However it did not work. Any idea how to resolve this?
Ps. I have used r-bloggers
