There is a TODO comment in snmp-ups that mentions doing something similar to usbhid-ups: just poll the

I missed that snmp-ups set pollfreq to 30 by default. I'd hope that it would set deadtime to an appropriate value as well than, no? Is there a way to query what the settings are or what the defaults are?
I'm going to set POLLFREQ=30 and DEADTIME = 90 and see if that has any effect. I'll check for the logs. And if that doesn't get my anywhere I'll look at trying to simulate

Hi Arnaud,
I may not have been specific enough in my description.
The crash that Jason saw is with the version of snmp-ups that is

Tripplite UPS (SU10KRT3/1X) through snmp-ups (nut 2.6.5)
Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list.
As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran
command
./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite
Here is what it says:

Creating tripplite-mib.h
Creating tripplite-mib.c

Thanks for the quick response Charles! I may not have gotten the correct
output from the snmpwalk, let me know if the attachment is usable. Thanks!
New data added, here is the gdb output:

Customizing Centos
Hi,
I want to ask you is it legal to create my own distribution based on Red Hat/Centos and to sell it under different name? I will make available for everyone to see the source code. Is this against the license agreement?
regards
Peter

Hi,
I'm interested from where Centos gets the source RPMs of updates for Red Hat Linux? I suppose that they are publicly available but where?

Sorry, it's basically all comments. Do you have the stdout from the subdriver script? Also, how is the MIB file installed?

That's not good. If you crank up the debug level past 2, does it provide any more detail about where it crashed? (We'd only need the last few lines, if they are different.)
I don't know how Arch Linux does debug symbols, so the dmesg output doesn't pinpoint which function in libc got bad data. Can you run

Tripplite UPS (SU10KRT3/1X) through snmp-ups (nut 2.6.5)
Hi, Nut-upsusers,
I am having problem configuring NUT to work with Tripplite UPS through SNMP.
There is a Tripplite SmartOnline SU10KRT3/1X and attempts to monitor it
using NUT though SNMP are failing...
OS: Enterprise Linux 6, Nut version: 2.6.5.
ups.conf is configured:
[trippliteups]
driver = snmp-ups
port = 10.200.254.39
desc = "ProductionServer"

QoS net-snmp ?
Hi
I''ve patched net-mrtg http://www.net-snmp.org/
with http://x-ray.prokon.cz/data/snmp/
sucefully
Also I''ve copied QOS.TXT to /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs
when I make a normal use of snmp, with mrtg in order
to monitor all traffic on eth0 and eth1, it works
OK.
But, how must I do in order to get monitor for a
specific class ?
If I make a snmpwalk (like README suggest), I get

Tripplite SNMPwebcard communication lost and established randomly
Just started using NUT and having a problem. I'm not sure if it is even NUT that is causing the issue.
I'm running the latest FreeNAS 9.3 release.
Network UPS Tools upsmon 2.7.2.
The UPS is a Tripplite SU6000RT4UHVPM with the SNMPwebcard installed.
I'm trying to use the SNMPwebcard, not USB or Serial. I've updated the SNMPwebcard to the latest firmware version (see below).
