Automounter (?) failing in CentOS 5.3
I may have asked about this before, but I can't find any records of so doing in my saved mail (which includes almost everything I ever read or write): All of a sudden, I am not getting flash drives automatically mounted in CentOS 5.3 with GNOME - they are recognized by the hardware, but there seems to be a (new?) problem with the maps. Here's the tail end of dmesg: usb 1-10: new high

Korean Translation - Anaconda Slides
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Well, it seems like my gnome terminal can't interpret Korean translations very well. Or maybe it can and I don't know how to confirm it ? I tried the following encoding characters in the gnome terminal: Current Local (UTF-8) Korean (EUC-KR) Korean (UHC) Korean (JOHAB) and all I can see are question marks inside black rhombus. That

User & pass are present According to the man pages, workgroup is supported I have changed it to domain, but that didn't change a thing [root at plexvm ~]# cat /etc/fstab # # /etc/fstab # Created by anaconda on Fri Apr 3 14:02:23 2020 # # Accessible filesystems, by reference, are maintained under '/dev/disk/'. # See man pages fstab(5), findfs(8), mount(8) and/or blkid(8) for more

USB printer goes into disconnected state when low-power mode enabled
I've mentioned this before, here, but with a laser printer connected via the lp0 port. I have a new laser printer, a Brother HL2140, that normally works just fine when installed using the CUPS interface per OpenPrinting's instructions (with one minor modification I had to add because the base driver without the CUPS installation did not work. Every so often, which actually appears to be

Then, what I'd try is 1) With an other directory like /mnt/xxx just to make sure it's not something with /home that it doesn't like. 2) See what it's doing by running it with strace -f mount.....
