I believe the necessary files are: ./usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm ./usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm.debug ./usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader These do add dependencies on x11, so it may be a good idea to split it into a separate package.. but it is needed for VT-based processors.

I've tried the libc6-xen package posted at: http://people.debian.org/~aurel32/xen/ However, it looks like programs are still calling the libc6 libraries in /lib/tls, instead of the xen-enabled ones. I saw Nate Carlson's message saying "..and it has been tested on amd64". I just installed it on an HP DL320 with Intel Pentium D 930, running i386 Sarge+backports. The packages seem to work here with Intel VT as well - in fact I just got through the Windows 2003 installation to the point where I could switch from VNC to RDP. Cool!
