Missing solutions
Hi folks There are still some solutions missing in both trunk trees: - Patches from trunk (3.0) - udev symlink handling (both) A package is not allowed to put symlinks into /etc/udev/rules.d, it have to create it on the first installation and remove it on purge. - postint script needs to create /var/lib/xenstored (both) - initscript needs to create /var/run/xenstored (both) /var/run may be

Changes for 3.2
Hi folks Some proposed changes: * Fixiate the API/ABI of some libs, for the stable version, including - libxenctrl, - libxenstat, - libxenstore. As upstream don't know what abinames are for, roll own abinames. * Add libxenctrlX, libxenstatX, libxenstoreX, if abinames may be different or libxenX if the abinames should the same for all libs. * Add libxen-dev including - static

Pending upload
Hi, One last thought... We haven't heard anything back from Bastian (for which I'm sorry, I would really have liked if he had joined us) and in the meantime consensus seem to have formed on -kernel and -devel, or at least there was no more answers... Which means at least people don't disagree strongly with the conclusions taken... In the meantime, though, there's still the upload

propossed 3.1 changes
Hi folks I propose the following changes for 3.1: - Rename source to xen-3. Upstream stripped one part of the version, so the next should be 3.2. - pygrub as extra package. - Rename i386 to i386-nonpae - Rename i386-pae to i386. PAE is upstream default now and pae images works with a 64bit hypervisor. We should think about supporting libvirt. It provides an AFAIK stable interface on the

xen reorganization
Hi folks I tried to find a solution for the update problem. Currently I have 3 kernels, 2.6.16-16, 2.6.16-17 and 2.6.17-6 and each of them needs another hypervisor. As it is the goal of Debian to not break on updates completely, I propose the following change: * Introduce xen-common source which provides xen-utils-common binary packages. This package provides a dispatcher for the installed

Request to join pkg-xen project on alioth
Hi, Can you please let me be a project member, and if possible, project admin too, since I'm working on the XAPI and Xen packaging with Ian Campbell (who is also a DD) and other people at Citrix? I guess it would make sense to also have Ian Campbell and Bastian Blank as project admins, since they are also active DDs for the Xen packaging. I haven't seen you active in this project. Are

pkg-xen team dead?
Hi folks With the lack of responses to my restructuring the last weeks, it looks like pkg-xen is dead. Now, what to do? My favorite is to merge it into the kernel repository where I have my infrastructure (archive and autobuilders for snapshots for example) to properly work on it. About libc/tls
Hello, I asked Aurelien Jarno from the Debian glibc team about our /lib/tls problem. It gave me a little help: # ldd /bin/echo libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x40021000) # touch /etc/ld.so.hwnocap # ldd /bin/echo libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40021000) I think this could help us. -- Julien Danjou .''`. Xen for Sarge && amd64
I am using the "tha" Xen packages from http://packages.debianbase.de/sarge/amd64/xen3/ However, I noticed that some new packages have been uploaded into the NEW queue. What I am wondering is if/when/where the Sarge packages will be made available. If there is no current plan to make them available, I would be happy to help in any way that I can. -Roberto -- Roberto C. Sanchez

Inf values in a matrix
Hello, I have some Inf values in a matrix, but I don't want to replace them with some value but rather remove the rows that contain the Inf values. Also I would like to record the rows which were removed. Is there an easy way to do this instead of writing loops over the matrix? Thanks. Ita Cirovic Donev

Problem with 1.2 and sieve: failed with unsuccessful implicit keep
Hi, First, thanks for this awesome piece of software. I've just upgraded to latest dovecot, aka 1.2. I've a problem. I've started using Sieve, and everything works fine, I already received a thousand of mails without any problem. However, there's one mail which is stuck in the postfix queue because of that: Jul 8 18:47:51 prometheus dovecot: deliver(jd at danjou.info):

data.frame - transform
Hi there, I have a data.frame (pwt6) which I would like to transform: country year gdp MEX 1950 2 MEX 1951 5 BOL 1950 4 BOL 1951 12 ITA 1950 45 ITA 1951 2 This should be the result: year MEX.gdp BOL.gdp ITA.gdp 1950 2 4 45 1951 5 12 2 Right now I have this code (better - no code): country.label<-names(table(pwt6$country)) result<-data.frame(year=NULL) for(i in country.label) ?
