XCP documentation?
Once again, I am attempting to refine NUT support for my older (Eaton)Powerware Prestige 9 UPS units. The issue is that the BCMXCP driver currently in NUT, optimistically assumes that everything in the XCP protocol document (C1 - as in the NUT archives) is available on all units, and that (even stated in the doc) is not the case.? For instance, the "Extended" block is stated to have

Re: dragging windows leaves traces -- running older GeForce drivers on newer cards
From: "Hilliard, Jay" <Jay.Hilliard at disney.com> > We've had lots of trouble with nvidia's driver version 1.0-7174 which > was current last week. Yep, it's the first of a new series (7000 -- sounds like it'll support NV5x out-of-the-box), so that's expected. > Today there is a new driver (1.0-7664) which has fixed lots of issues > for us,

deleteing e-Mail, quota and dovecot
Hi, we run a RHEL4 E-Mail-Server with dovecot-0.99.11-2.EL4.1. we use mbox and most users use imap. So I have set quota for the devices where the user mailfiles are saved. No I'm getting the situation, that users exide there quota but yet not the grace limit and the user isn't able to delete messages. e.g. the the soft limit is 100 MB, the hard limit is 110 MB. So there should be

Sweave & xtable
I am just starting to learn Sweave (really neat tool). I am pretty early in the learning curve (I had to think a moment ago whether a # or % was the appropriate comment character). I have successfully incorporated simple graphics and outputs, but am having trouble getting a latex (xtable) table to function properly. Latex is seemingly treating the xtable code as input or verbatim text. That

Re: Bug#390862: -bigmem version of xen kernels is really needed
What about idea not to *add* pae versions of xen kernels, but to *replace* non-pae versions with pae versions? Rationale: - not increase in archive size or linux-2.6 package build time, - this will improve compatimility with other distros (consider scenario when running FC or RHEL in domU; these distros do ship only pae xen kernels, according to

Software RAID on Centos 4 - new issue
OK, I have managed to get software RAID 1 running on my wonderful Proliant server but now have two challenges: 1) Fresh after an OS install and reboot, the RAID array starts to do its stuff but straight away (as part of the boot messages) I am told that the second disk is 'not ready for command' and the system hangs as soon as resyncing starts. I think this is fixed by adding an hdparm

aov output question
Hello, I currently get anova results out of the aov function (see below) I use the model.tables and I believe it gives me back the model parameters of the fit (betas), however I don't see the intercept (beta_0) and don't understand what the "rep" output means and there is no description in the documentation. Another question: is there a function that outputs the results in a

usbhid-ups driver
I've just upgraded NUT from 2.0.2 to 2.2.0 and have read the upgrading file, which led me to submitting this message. I have changed nut.conf to use 'driver = usbhid-ups' and 'productid = ffff', but I still get 'No matching HID UPS found' when I try to start the driver. The UPS (a Liebert PowerSure Personal XT 450VA) was working fine with 2.0.2 and the hidups

re: 120 GB larger hard disk
Hi, I don“t think that this is a ext3 Problem, since you have problems partitioning that disk. Perhaps a hdparm -i /dev/hdX could shine some light on this, also a fdisk -l /dev/hdX could be useful. For now - let me guess: <guess> To me, it seems, that the disk is clipped to 32GB, perhaps the mainboard bios can not cope with a disk >32GB - just a thought. Since the manufactorer
