[nut-commits] svn commit r1582 - in trunk: . data docs drivers man
Reporting current in milliAmps is not a good idea. This will lead to
impractically large values, especially when we report them with two
decimals resolution (10 microAmps). Even the laboratory measuring
equipment that is standing right next to me now, doesn't offer this
resolution in the range that is common for most UPS'es. I think you
meant to write 'Ampere (A)' here

Joining forces with the Network UPS Tools
Hi Powermen ;-)
I recently came across the Powerman project
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/powerman/), pointed by Tony Merenda,
from Opengear (thanks Tony). Congrats for your work in this area!
I've thought a bit about Powerman and NUT since then...
NUT currently supports hosts of UPSs and few PDUs (RPCs), and provides
tons of features:

New snmp-ups subdriver for Huawei
Hi, the diff inline below adds a new subdriver for snmp-ups to support
Huawei UPS, based on an observed walk from a UPS5000-E with a few bits
filled in from the MIBs (copy at http://junkpile.org/HUAWEI_UPS_MIB/).
Sample output from upsc follows the diff.
cheers,
Stuart

Eaton 5PX after battery replacement still says "replace battery" in NUT
Hi,
This might be a simple thing to fix, but I can?t figure it out. We replaced the battery for the first time in our Eaton 5PX a couple of weeks ago, but we haven?t been able to clear the ?ups.alarm: replace battery!? status.
Details of our installation are:
OS: Debian 6
NUT version: 2.7.4
Installation method: from source tarball
UPS device: Eaton 5PX2000IRT, 240V, 1800W, 2000VA, bought in

ondelay parameter does not work with NUT on Raspbian and Eaton 5E850iUSBDIN UPS
Hi,
I have the Eaton 5E850iUSBDIN UPS connected via USB to a Raspberry Pi 3B+.
It seems that everything but the ondelay parameter works so far.
when I test the setup with this command:
upsmon -c fsd
The NUT server makes the NUT clients shut down properly and the Raspberry
Pi running the NUT server shuts down correctly too. The problem is that
after UPS shuts down, it immediatelly brings the

ADIT 600 "Dynamic Impedance matching"
Has anyone ever heard of this so called Dynamic Impedance matching on
the ADIT 600? I called their support and they've never heard of it. We
are of course having echo problems are on the far end due to
digital/analog conversion on the local end using a channel bank. We have
purchased an ADIT 600 and yes the complaints are "far less" however
we're still getting them. While I have

USBHID-PDU datagram
Hello *,
I have my "24V DC modular ATX PSU" running yet and it collect already
the data form the DS1780 and MAX1036/8. The Microcontroller is a Maxim
Integrated Device DS89C450 and the USB-Controller a MAX3420E which works
over SPI Bit-Banging.
OK, this is now working and enumeration is done... ;-)
Now since the PSU is a "Function" I was looking into the Linux

PDU support for DigiPower and Aviosys devices
Hi,
I'm thinking about adding support for PDU (Power Distribution Unit) devices
from Digipower [1] and Aviosys [2] to NUT via the SNMP interface.
The specific devices I have in mind are the following:
Digipower AMz-1623/SW-08-1
Aviosys IP Power 925x
(both are 8-port PDUs which are SNMP capable via an ethernet interface)
Does anybody have other DigiPower or Aviosys devices and if so

I believe some fixes were applied to the branch since your report (most
visibly, about battery time settings), are you in position to test how it
behaves now? :)
Thanks in advance,

NUT-2.0.3 - problems on setting values
Hello,
we have a MGE Pulsar Evolution 800 connected to a Fedora Core5 Server
using a serial cable.
Installed and configured properly are RPM versions of
nut-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
nut-client-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
nut-cgi-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
which all work (mostly) fine.
The server is connected to outlet.0 and properly shuts down when it's
loosing power after around 20 minutes. It also boots up whenever the ups
