Tripp-lite Omni VS1000
I just purchased a new ups and I'm unsure about several things. For one thing I don't know what driver I need. Also, it uses a usb port and I had a serial port before. I'm not sure how this needs to be set up. Thanks in advance for help Barbara -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/

choosing a UPS (in the United States)
I do a bunch of "kindness of strangers" hosting in my basement and my three kVA apc unit died recently. In looking around, it looked like Belkin was a reasonable low-end replacement for a few machines. Then I read this mailing list after I purchased one and was gifted another. It looks like people don't like Belkin. ;-) So the question is what's a good UPS for running

Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK won't stay powered off
Hello, I'm using nut to control a Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK ups (vendor ID 050d, product ID 0751). I'm using the belkin driver and a serial connection for communications. The host computer is running Debian. I have things configured such that both my computer and the ups shut off when the battery level reaches a critical level, and everything seems to work fine up to this point. My problem

compaq r3000 triggering the fuse when power is reconnected
All, I have a fairly old Compaq R3000h which is overdue for new batteries. Before I go and splash out a few hundred francs, I'd just need a quick sanity check - when I disconnect the power (UPS under load), it cuts out pretty much right away, so the batteries are flat (even though the charge indicator says full). When I reconnect the power, the surge triggers a 16A mains fuse. This sounds

Configuring a server without an UPS attached
This will sound a bit odd. I have a current server running with a UPS. I'm in the process of replacing that server with another and obviously want Nut to monitor the new server. The new/old servers are in different locations, so I don't have access to the UPS while configuring the replacement server. I think I have the config ok, but what errors would you expect to see? Typically I'm

how to colour labels (each label with a colour) in a dendrogram?
Hello to all, I still have this doubt. I'd like to colour the different labels of my dendrogram each one with a different colour. How can I do? I guess I could do using *edgetext* and then *t.col* or* lab.col* but I don't know how to add edgetext to my dendrogram. Can you help me please? Example: require(graphics); require(utils) hc <- hclust(dist(USArrests), "ave") (dend1

I have checked in a cleaned-up version of patch #302111 (Belkin support) into CVS. See cvs diff -uN -r before_PSE_2 -r after_PSE_2 to check the difference. Here is the CHANGES entry: Tue Sep 13 20:50:14 UTC 2005 / Peter Selinger <selinger@users.sourceforge.net> - newhidups: added Belkin support. Also added some new variables and instant commands (some of these were already used by

Problem with parseData
The fix is now in R-devel, 75386. I have not ported to R-patched, because the fix breaks two packages which are working around this bug (and to my knowledge without having reported it before). So thanks again for the report! Best Tomas On 08/16/2018 10:06 AM, Tomas Kalibera wrote: > Dear Barbara, > > thank you for the report. This is something to be fixed in R - I am > now
